Designed for comfort and stability, it fits most elongated toilets and includes Grip-Tight bumpers for a firm hold, making it a top-rated essential for modern apartments and homes. ## Description Bring quiet confidence to your everyday routines with the KOHLER Cachet ReadyLatch® Quiet-Close™ elongated toilet seat, a thoughtful blend of subtle styling and smart engineering that fits most elongated toilets. Installation takes only a screwdriver and happens entirely from above the bowl, so there is no reaching underneath to tighten anything. Grip-Tight bumpers hold the seat firmly in place to prevent shifting, while Quiet-Close™ technology lowers the lid and seat gently to prevent slamming. When it is time to clean, the ReadyLatch® hinge securely locks the seat in position, yet releases easily so you can lift it away and reach every corner. A contoured shape adds welcome comfort, and color-matched hinges complete the refined look. It is the reassuring mix of function and style that makes each day feel a little more effortless. ## Features - Grip-Tight installation hardware makes it easy to fasten a slow close toilet seat – everything is done from above the bowl - ReadyLatch hinge provides a positive lock/unlock latch to securely hold toilet seat elongated in position, yet seat easily removes for cleaning or adjusting fit. Grip-Tight bumpers hold seat firmly in place - Contoured seat for user comfort. Color-matched plastic hinges - Fits most elongated toilets - Toilet seats are not returnable to Kohler Co. if opened or outside of original packaging ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B6XY834G | | Best Sellers Rank | #89 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #1 in Toilet Seats | | Brand | Kohler | | Brand Name | Kohler | | Color | Biscuit | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 9,314 Reviews | | Included Components | Ready Latch Quiet-Close Elongated Toilet Seat | | Item Dimensions L x W | 18.08"L x 14.18"W | | Item Type Name | KOHLER 4636-RL-96 CACHET® READYLATCH® QUIET CLOSE ELONGATED TOILET SEAT, BISCUIT | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Manufacturer | Kohler | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4636-RL-96 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 4636-RL-96 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Product Dimensions | 18.08"L x 14.18"W | | Shape | Oblong | | Style | Ready Latch | | UPC | 195711000118 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kohler - **Color:** Biscuit - **Item Weight:** 2 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 18.08"L x 14.18"W - **Shape:** Oval - **Style:** Ready Latch - **UPC:** 195711000118 - **Unit Count:** 1.0 Count ## Images ![KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat Slow Close Soft Close, Toilet Seat Quiet Lid, Contoured Grip-Tight Bumpers Installation Hardware, Apartment Essentials, Biscuit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51I9MFtLzeL.jpg) ![KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat Slow Close Soft Close, Toilet Seat Quiet Lid, Contoured Grip-Tight Bumpers Installation Hardware, Apartment Essentials, Biscuit - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Fc15UPFhL.jpg) ![KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat Slow Close Soft Close, Toilet Seat Quiet Lid, Contoured Grip-Tight Bumpers Installation Hardware, Apartment Essentials, Biscuit - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Xh5qZIq4L.jpg) ![KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat Slow Close Soft Close, Toilet Seat Quiet Lid, Contoured Grip-Tight Bumpers Installation Hardware, Apartment Essentials, Biscuit - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yaR0polTL.jpg) ![KOHLER 4636-RL-96 Cachet ReadyLatch Elongated Toilet Seat Slow Close Soft Close, Toilet Seat Quiet Lid, Contoured Grip-Tight Bumpers Installation Hardware, Apartment Essentials, Biscuit - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71F7LKORxAL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color, Size** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/478517557-kohler-4636-rl-96-cachet-readylatch-elongated-toilet-seat-slow](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/478517557-kohler-4636-rl-96-cachet-readylatch-elongated-toilet-seat-slow) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
