Truly, I can’t imagine being happier with this FIR pad! I am so in love with it because it is helping to diminish the joint and muscle pain associated with ME/CFS from the first day I received it. The pain has been so intense that I was having a great deal of trouble sitting, bending and walking. I’ve had this pain for nearly 5 years and sometimes have felt like I would be in a wheelchair from it. I began by using it all night and whenever I sat down during the day. In the beginning I was in a lot of pain and felt very dependent on it, probably using it up to 16 hours a day. About a month has passed and my pain has reduced so much that I am only using it a few hours during the day and each night. Now I am adding in activities everyday that would have sent me to bed recovering for weeks. I am enjoying instant recovery and no disabling pain from these activities now. It seemed slow in the first weeks, but the pain relief was welcome even in small amounts. It seems the perfect size to move from place to place with me and giving good coverage to whichever affected area I choose. I love being able to REALLY fine tune the heat setting! UPDATE: I am finally beginning to strengthen and gain flexibility. I am excited to be gaining strength and endurance so that I can walk normally, as well as climb stairs at last!! I have recently purchased a second pad for days when I have added in more activity than I have been able to do over the last 5 years and am concerned that I may become sore. Since the pad is not large enough to cover multiple areas, having a second pad is helpful in covering secondary sites that have been virtually unused over the last 5 years. With the use of the pad I do not become sore or painful which is exciting and helpful in helping me restore my previous activity levels. I am a believer! I just got this heating oad today so I'll update later if I'm wrong or anything changes, but i laid on it for 3 hours today. I have the worst hip issues and psoriasis arthritis. For the first time in 3 years, I was able to lift my knee to my chest laying down without pain. Seriously amazing. This heating pad supercededs my expectations!! I am back on it now as I write this. Im 40 years old and I wake up so sore in the morning from arthritis and I sleep with a regular heating pad every night. Now this will be my new every night heating pad and I'm so excited to see how it goes! If just 3 hours can enhance my flexibility and helo relive pain then I can't even imagine how ill feel in a week's time. Im so excited! If you are wavering on buying one, just do it! They guarantee their products and i registered mine today!! My hope is to get the full length one and the bonus is that as long as this is still working when I do, I can trade it in for the price of this off of the price of the full body one! I have such hope for this pad and less pain in my life. As someone with chronic pain, I needed something that did not come with side effects. This is my miracle I hoped for. I had heard all about these from a friend who healed after knee surgery on one and reccomended. She healed in half the time and blew doctors away. My doctor wrote me a referral for one based on that reccomendation and my HSA covered the cost. Thank you to the makers of this, because for me it was affordable and it is working on day 1!! I had the larger biomat which I loved but first the stones broke through the plastic and then the whole thing stopped working. I wrote to the company at least 4 times with photos and they never wrote back. I couldn't afford to replace it. Since I had ended up putting the biomat across the end of my bed to keep my feet warm at night (and help with circulation) I decided I only needed the small one to replace it. I found this one and it was so much cheaper, about 20% of the price of the biomat mini and has a better control panel. The difference is the biomat is much thicker so has more stones (which are only amethyst, not mixed) and the fabric may be slightly higher quality. The biomat was so heavy so I like that this one is lighterto carry and because it is thinner it is easier on the body (more comfortable). I don't like the added slip on cover material as well as the biomat's cover but I would rather save the money and have this cheaper version. As for it's effectiveness. Before I got the biomat I couldn't even feel my feet as my circulation was so bad. I can feel my feet now. For pain? The pain I have in my ankles and legs (possibly from nerve damage when I had back surgery) hasn't gone away. For cold nights I love it because my feet stay warm. My cats also love sleeping on top of it. I think this was excellent value for money and I am happy with it. I have not had it a year yet though so don't know how it will hold up over time.

So. I’m not sure what makes this thing work, or if it’s just a great concept but it’s amazing and I feel great sitting on it. I like crystals, I like heat, I work from home and meditate a ton. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I got to lie on a more expensive version during a reiki session and found it nice. First off it’s beautiful. Well made. Tough. I know some people mentioned it’s stiff. That’s true, but it fits everywhere. I can put on the floor, on my chair, or on my bed. The stiffness doesn’t bother me at all, if anything it just feels like it’s gonna hold up for years. I thought I would use it once in a while before bed… Nope. I use it daily, and it’s all different ways. When I get tired or down- I plug it in, throw it on my office chair and start to notice an ease in pain and anxiety. Before bed, I lay on it while I unwind or text friends. Again. I’m not completely sure how this works, all I know is it wasn’t cheap, was def a splurge and now I don’t think I could live without it! Also, I feel eager to have my friends try out it! Just so I can ask around! It really is amazing.

We Like the Pads — But the Customer Service Is Terrible We purchased four HealthyLine infrared heating pads for ourselves and our family. We genuinely like the pads — when they work, they’re great. But the last two we bought (less than a year ago) have already stopped working. We've been trying to reach customer service for months. After weeks of calling, we finally got someone who asked for proof of purchase. We sent it right away, but no one has followed up since. We have tried over and over to reach them without success! The lack of response is incredibly frustrating, especially given how much these pads cost.

I've been using a conventional heating pad to sleep on for a couple of years now--I don't keep it turned on, but I like to have it in place in case I wake up with a stiff neck and a headache, which happens often. I just bought this FIR mat at the suggestion of a natural medicine practitioner, and I've slept on it twice so far. I do like the feel of the heat, and I like how adjustable the temperature is. I also find it heats up very quickly under me--I have no idea what people are complaining about when it comes to the time it takes to heat up. I just wish: a) that it was a little more flexible, so I could adjust it more closely to my neck and shoulders; and b) that the controller wasn't so huge. I don't understand why the controller needs to be so big, and that's the only issue that really annoys me and is making me think about returning it. UPDATE: I am managing to sleep with it, and I think it is working just fine. I don't know if it's better than a regular heating pad overall, but I like to believe it's healthier, and I love that it can keep my neck and shoulders warm but not hot all night.

I have used different inexpensive heating pads over the years. This one is far superior. I like the temperature specific heat settings rather than hi/med/low etc. I like setting the amount of time to leave it on, then it shuts off. There is no smell. I feel safer lying on this pad, it feels like the heating element is well protected from breaking with weight on it. I use it at night for back pain. I don’t know what effect the gemstones have but the pad and the heat are soothing.

I love it so much I ordered one for my mother for mother's day. It's small enough to easily fit on a chair and helps with long hours of studying. I's easy to move from one place to another. In bed I can easily toss it aside in the night when I'm done laying on it. I recently went on a trip and brought it with me. The temperature control allows me to go from high heat for quick pain relief to a low heat for long term use without getting dehydrated. It's beautiful on top of all that and feel of high quality construction. I have wanted a biomat for years but always thought they were out of my price range. I would have purchased this years ago if I had known how affordable it is. Thank you!
