What's the manufacturer date on these tires?

I bought mine at the end of 2018,the DOT date was 2017, Thats ok for a discounted amazon tire in my book. The tire is impressive,heats up like a race tire.

Are these directional? Just had them mounted on the rear and one tire tread is backwards
