That it be waterproof
This product served its purpose. It was waterproof and it also allowed us to maneuver the pad when needed.

This is a very good product holds up to multiple washings.When my mother had to be taken to hospital the emt’s said they needed one of these.They even picked Mom up and carried her to the gurney with it!Highly recommend this!

Worked. we for moving some in a stationary position to laying and a visa versa . Use for moving 5’7 person that dead weight around.

Very handy for bed-ridden people
This is what's uses in hospitals to raise people up when they have slid down in a bed. It works very well and can be left in the bed. It takes two people to use it, as one has to be on the opposite side. This works perfectly

Not what I needed
I was wanting a mat that would protect the bed but also assist in sliding the patient up in the bed. My fault for not reading description carefully, this mat is non slip.
