Teacher Created Resources Twistle Original, Black & White

I almost have them in every color. They're totally worth it! Way better than Tangle in my opinion. The original is my favorite. It is stiffer and nearly silent. It also has a very satisfying soft feeling to the plastic. The double twist is different, it makes clicky noises when it moves, feels different and it is very fluid like a beaded necklace. I like both but watch which one you buy because they are not the same at all. You also can't really take apart and put the double twist back together in different color combos because each link has two colors so it looks out of place.

Fidget toys like this are really helpful for me to be able to focus during movies, conversations, when anxious, etc. I've tried similar brands (think Twistle but more fluid and noodley), and the Twistle is just different enough to provide a unique stimming experience.This toy may be small for adults if you like wrapping fidgets around your hands. I've noticed one of my go to motions is to wrap around my four fingers and make a small loop for my thumb, like an odd makeshift brace, and I can just barely do so with this fidget. It's not large enough for me to wear on my brace and looped around my thumb (but would definitely fall off if just worn as a bracelet). It's still a decent size for adult use and is sturdy enough to be pocketed or thrown in a bag for on the go use. Unless the sections gently "clank" together, this is quiet and could probably be used at a movie theatre without anyone noticing.I like the angles you can make and how the pieces hold that shape, but they aren't too stiff and are easily articulated. You can make little wave motions with some fluidity, but there's also some resistance, which I like. Popping the links in and out is easy (which makes a small "snap" sound), and I like the matte texture of the individual pieces. You do get some textural variance if you rub your thumb along the pieces, especially with their individual seams and the small gaps between connections, but I haven't encountered any sharp or unpleasant edges.Overall, I really like this fidget! It is satisfying and calming, with a touch of rigidity that makes it different than similar rounded products.

I’ve never had a fidget like this before and thought it was a pretty cool design. It twists and turns, sort of like tangles. I like it because it’s a bit more complex than other fidgets. I haven’t gotten bored with it yet. I also let my daughter play with it and she loves it too! I definitely recommend if you love fidgets and especially if you’re looking for something a little different.
