The wood is same as the picture mostly. The wood is made of natural walnut, it's hard to guarantee its color, but it not will be too darker. ^.^

Came early. Well put together.

I ordered this camera to replace another manufacturer's 4x5 camera I was using. The fit and finish on the camera I received are first rate. The walnut wood is beautiful. All the metal hardware is sturdy. Everything is assembled to seemingly tight tolerances, but everything moves freely. The camera is a great to use. The back is easily removed for Graflock accessories and clicks easily back into place when done. Since receiving the camera, I've run about 20 black and white sheets of film and around 10 color sheets through it (through film holders I supplied, of course) and the camera's performance has been flawless. Overall, I'm very pleased with this camera.
