What is the large imperfection on corner?

There are no imperfections on mine, I just used them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner, they are lovely!

Are they lightweight?

They are not lightweight like Corelle dishes are.. They are heavier, the weight of Pfaltzgraff dishes.
