We placed it on saw horses in order to eliminate the need of getting up and down on the floor or stand on our heads to tighten bolts. This trellis is stout, heavy and well constructed. I chose this piece due to the fact it came with feet on four legs for inserting long stakes into the ground rather than the need of planting the legs into the ground. The stakes drove into the ground easily with a 10# sledge hammer. Our soil is clay with lots of rock. I can't say enough good about this Trellis.
