Everything is fine and im glad i bought this. 1 problem and i had a feeling it was true from what i read from a review posted here. It does sink in a little. Im 180 pounds and i tried it out. I got this for my wife that is a little more heavier then i am. Even if it sinks down also when she steps on it she loves it so im happy. Thats the only reason why i gave it 4 and just took one off because it sinks down. Long term not sure how it will hold up maybe wont use it a whole lot in the middle to make it last longer. Oh one more thing the grip on top didnt come out line up and in some parts when i open the box it was lifting up. I just pushed down on it. If dirt gets under it the glue wont hold and it will come up little by little. We will see ill up date later on down the road.UpdateIt has been used for a while now and has worked out great. Even with weights it still holds up very good. Had given 4 but now giving 5 stars.

There's a named brand for about +$12 more but I have to say, I was skeptical of the AmazonBasics Brand but also aware that it looked almost identical to the "named" brand version. So here's my review.1. I saw the pics etc but I was surprised how physically large this platform is.2. It has solid rubber feet and on a tile floor there's no movement or slippage even with or without the risers3. It's solid and doesn't sway or tilt or move when on the risers. They fit snug and keep it feeling solid.4. It's easily big enough for two people for certain exercises as each step area above the risers is easily capable of holding a single adult (Not tried but that is my perception)5. The rubber mat embebbed in the step is fine for bare feet, socked or shoes. No skidding or anything.There is one issue to let folks know, Amazon's web site shows risers for a "similar" product (both this stepper and the "other" are called Health Club Size) which can be bought with this unit. DON'T. They DO NOT FIT. There's about 1/8"-1/4" difference in width and they don't fit solidly underneath the supplied risers not underneath the step platform directly. They DON'T fit this platform period. Yes they look identical in the picture and both say Health Club Size but trust me, if you need additional risers, based on the price of this unit, simply buy a second platform. That's what I'm doing. I'd like just 2 more risers but I can't find just risers on the Amazon web site for their named product.Other than that, what can you use a stepper for? There's lots of exercise videos out there but simply adding ankle weights etc, wrist weights etc and stepping or jumping onto the platform will increase your workout, Combining while stepping up while also doing some Kettle weight (or dumbbell) exercises will help considerably. If you've had knee surgery, start slow and low and work you way up with added height as the knee strengthens. So can be used for aiding surgery recovery as well as increasing and improving workouts. It's also advantageous if used with various balance exercises. Lots of options.

These adjustable stepping platforms are common in every commercial gym. The problem is that with COVID, my commercial gym had been closed for months, reopened, closed, reopened. Thanks Governor Lumberg.For about $60 this adjustable step is the real deal. Just as good as the commercial gym models, simple to use and sturdy. I use this for aerobic stepping and to adjust my height for my speedbag. Rather than blow $500 on an adjustable speedbag platform, it made more sense to me to spend $60 on an adjustable step for my fixed height speedbag. It's working well - I have 4 different sized speed bags and I have no issues with any of them now due to this adjustable step.Shipping was fast and this is a great addition to my home "COVID" gym. Hope that helps!

The step itself is good and works great but it came cracked right out of the box. I didn’t return as I needed the step for class.

I purchased this for my mom who had back surgery followed by hip surgery just a few months afterward. She was having a difficult time getting into her bed even after we set the mattress and box springs on the floor. This made the perfect step for her since we could adjust the height very easily and the rubber tread on top made it safer for her. When she began physical therapy for hip surgery, it became a PT device for her. The only complaint I have is that the rubber has begun to peel up on the edge. It has been well worth the price we paid for it.

I have had this step for several months and have no complaints for the price paid. I use it while using weights for a bodypump style workout, so I can only really comment on how I found it for that rather than using it as a traditional aerobic step. It has been of similar comfort to using the ones supplied at gym body pump sessions I have been to. It is a proper sized step so able to lay on and support back for chest press parts of the routine, it is also sturdy enough to carry out push ups, tri dips etc and it doesn't slide around even being used on a laminate floor.

Overall, this is a great workout step. It’s durable and heavy-duty. Its a little difficult to get the steps to lock into place, but once they are situated properly they do not budge, not even during an aerobic exercise class. You also feel super secure when doing a step class on top of the bench as it does not buckle.My only complaint is that the rubber grip on top of the bench is not properly secured into place. When I took it out of the box upon delivery, the grip was already peeling from the edges. This isn’t great if you do a lot of exercises on the step like pushups and mountain climbers.
