Red Kap Men's Interior Pocket Lab Coat

Bought this for my 11 year old boy for his costume. He has sensory issues so costumes are hard for him and try to keep them simple. This lab coat fit him perfect and the length used some hemming tape and perfect length. For the price and fast shipping this is one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon! Costumes can be a huge struggle when you have a little one with Autism and SPD but this lab coat, homemade badge and stethoscope I picked up at a rummage sale and every door he knocked on everyone was calling him “Doctor Kai!” He also heard “Thank you for making house calls!” He had a great night!

I needed a light blue lab coat for a costume. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but didn't want a thin, cheap-looking item either.This is perfect. It also fits as it should, I am 5'-10", 160 lbs. and bought the Medium size. I usually wear a 38 R off the rack without tailoring, and this lab coat fits exactly as it should. It is just roomy enough to wear a dress shirt and tie underneath, but does not feel like a tent. I have long arms and the sleeves come all the way down to my wrists, in fact a little longer than a sport coat usually does.The material is not see-through like some cheap white ones are - it's really the perfect weight. There are two lower pockets, two "through" side slashes (to get to your pockets on your pants underneath) and an upper pocket on the inside. I wanted that pocket on the outside, and it was an easy fix for a seamstress to remove it and sew it on the front.

This was purchased for my boyfriend. I just pulled it out of the box and he is not here, so I can’t say anything about the fit just yet. It looks as though it will fit normally, but we’ll see.The chest pocket is sewn on the inside of the coat, not the outside. I wasn’t expecting that, but after zooming in on the picture, it looks like it’s supposed to be like that. Why? I have no idea.Overall, the product is fine. Just wish the pocket was on the outside.

Fit

Good material. Happy with the purchase. I wanted a women's but they did not come with free 2-day shipping. Maybe I'm just used to women's measurements, but I ordered using the suggested size guide and it was very large. If you're a medium/large in women's I would definitely go wit hat least a medium if not a small, even.

Good price excellent fit

Fits well, like to color (not white, so it won't show dirt as readily) and three pockets: two large outside of the coat and one chest pocket, which leads me to a minor quibble: the chest pocket is located inside of the coat. At this point, I don't if I like or dislike the location and time will tell.All in all, a very decent shop coat (I'm a woodworker and I've never gotten used to aprons, but have to oversized work shirts! This is taking a work shirt to another level!).

I use these to keep puppy foot prints off of my clothes when I go outside to feed them. It is a good length and holds up well after several, several washings. Love the snaps, the pockets, and the holes in the coat where you can reach under the jacket to get to your pants pockets. Good quality, good price, and love the purchase. I have purchased 3 of these coats- so far.

good deal and meet my expectation

The coat itself seems well made. It was used as a costume for a film shoot. The only complaint I have is that the breast pocket is on the inside of the jacket. The pictures on the product page looked to me like the pocket was on the outside... but maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. Aside from that, I have no real complaints. It looked great on screen and the actor was happy with the fit.
