Breathe Fresh Air Air Purifier HEPA Cleaner Ozone Generator w/Timer Deluxe Edition

I bought this to replace my old purifier that I had for 15 years. The company that made it no longer exists, or got absorbed into some other company, it's hard to tell. Either way I couldn't just buy another just like the one I had that I know worked for 15 years. This one looked like it was close to what I had before so I gave it a shot. So far it's amazing! Even better than the one I had before because it comes with a remote and has a timer. My fiance accidentally turned the purifier part up too high and went to dinner. When I came back, the whole house had that great ozone smell. We have 12 foot ceilings so that's actually really impressive. We turned it down to a more normal setting and it's doing great. We keep it in the room with the litter boxes and you can't smell cat at all. Even when they're in there doing their business, this sucker zaps the odors before they can leave the box. We don't smoke so I can't say how it handles that. If this thing can last 15 years like my last one, I'll be a happy camper. I'll update if something changes.

It worked great for 5 months. Then I noticed it was on when I did not turn it on or set the timer for 'on", I tries to turn it off but theon/off button had no effect. So I pulled the plug and it went off. Then the next day I wanted it on again so I plugged it back in.Now it will not turn on. On/off button has no effect. When it worked it was great. But not it simply does not work. Return window closedso it will go in the trash. Beware.

I bought one of these with the idea that I would use it in my home office, and if it turned out too loud for that, I would use it in my bedroom. Intent was to remove dust, pollen, mold (we live in the woods and it has rained all summer), and other allergens out of the air to help with allergies and breathing.It was definitely too loud for my home office. Much louder, even on low setting, than a running fan. So I moved it to the bedroom. After a few nights (bedroom door shut at night, open during the day, no windows open), here are my observations:1. During the evening, it heated up the room by a few degrees. The device didn't feel hot, but my wife even remarked that the room was hotter than the other rooms. This is not good as I breathe better in a cooler room.2. We didn't notice any difference in air quality. None.3. It was too loud for sleeping. I like white noise when sleeping (I sleep with a fan running), but this was over the top. It wasn't like a jet engine, but it was uncomfortably loud.4. Never tried the ozone generator. I wasn't interested in that part, but it's hard to find a purifier that doesn't include it. Note that filling your bedroom with ozone is not something you want to do if you like living.5. It doesn't retain settings when unplugged. A minor annoyance, but would have been nice. That's super easy to do with today's microcontrollers.The unit was not defective. It obviously ran as intended, including the sterilizing UV light.Makes me wonder if folks are falling for the placebo effect or if something else is going on.

I thought that I would try this product. I bought it to replace another air cleaner that died after 15 years. I was very happy with the old unit. This breathe fresh unit seems to be better built. After setting it up I could notice the difference within just a few hours. Even on its lowest O3 setting the ozone is noticeable, but not unpleasant. The fan speeds seem to be up to the job even the lowest setting provides a good volume of air. This is indeed a premium unit. It took a while to set up because of all the options. I had to read through the manual a few times but it is correct.

I ran this unit continuosly for 6 weeks after purchase. I figured the filters probably needed a cleaning. I removed the filters from the back of the unit and there wasn't one speck of dust or dirt. They were as clean as the day I received it. Then I checked the front of the unit where the CLEAN air is supposed to exit. The front grill was full of dirt and dust. As were the front of the fan blades. The instructions say the negative ions make the dust and pollen in the air fall to the floor. Well my floors were no dirtier with the unit on, than they were before I purchased it. IT DOESN'T WORK!

Purchased this to help with oders, dust, mold, & mildew issues following a major hurricane and it has performed above and beyond the expectations. We had a rat die somewhere in our tiny crawl space and the ozone generation obliterated the smell.

The wife and I both smoke and our living room is of medium size. This machine eliminates the cigarette odor entirely and cooking smells from the kitchen. We've found the 'safe setting' is adequate for ozone generation. With the system set to medium generation, one can really smell it operating. The design is simple to disassemble for cleaning. This is the best smoke eater we've had. Well worth the price.

This is my 3rd purchase. My homes that I work at were urine and feces smell. Absoluting horrible in smell even after cleaning and disinfecting. I talked my customers into purchasing this machine because I had one and swore by what the product can do. They loved it!! Mine quit working and I purchase another for my home and the fan definitely does not go as high speed as the others that I have purchased in the past. It’s supposed to be the same one too. For the price I’m not a happy person.
