Franklin Covey Portable 7-Hole Punch for Classic Style Day Planner Pages- Plastic, 5mm Hole Diameter,Insert Plastic Punch Diary

This is a cheap portable punch that fits those 5.5 x 8.5 at a glance (and similar) planners. It allows you to save a lot of money and make your own note paper or custom sheets instead of buying 8 dollar packs of thirty sheets of paper from the planner company. At a glance doesnt sell a hole punch because they want to price gouge you and thats really annoying. This punch works great. It doesnt mangle paper if you use it right. The rectangular plastic parts that stick up are guides for you to slide the paper under. The only fault for this punch is that there is nothing to catch the punched circles, but its so portable and easy to clip into your planner that its worth it.

I bought this as an affordable alternative to the metal Franklin Covey 7-ring half-letter hole punch (the only other option out there) for my 7-ring Day-Timer planner, and I'm glad I did. It does exactly what it needs to: sits in my binder and hole punches one page at a time from copy paper thickness to manila folder thickness cardstock. I have no problems with the alignment or the little clamps that hold the page straight: I hole punch without taking it out, thus able to align the bottom edge of a printed half-letter sheet with the bottom of the Day-Timer pages (which are approximately A5). Press down along the punches til it's flat, open it up, brush away the confetti, and snap in your new page. It's portable, works a treat, and accurately punches the 2-3-2 configuration of a Day-Timer binder. Works exactly as advertised. Considering the number of people who complain about the metal one breaking at twice the cost, I'm happy with this one. This is reasonably heavy duty plastic and I expect it to last (without serious abuse) for several years at least. For the cost, if it breaks, I will buy another (and update this review to let you know how long it lasted).

Compact and convenient portability. Fits in planner. Does not punch more than a couple pages at a time; does not punch thru plastic or cardboard sheets. Made of plastic so be careful with the pressure used to punch; feels like it may break easily.

This is a perfect affordable 7-hole punch for half size mini planners. It is lightweight and even fits inside of your 7 ring journal or planner. It works well for about 3 sheets at a time.

Sent it back, pricey for what it is and it has the wrong hole patterns for my needs.

This product is not readily found in stores and perfectly fits my needs for my work planner.

Great in theory, horrible in practice. You have to push hard to get the holes to punch, then it tears in other places. Not useful at all.
