In the picture, the edit/filter makes it look orangey, but it isn’t. It’s a gorgeous red. The colors are vibrant but not overwhelming.This is the fourth rug I have purchased from Safavieh, and I will be buying more. We are remodeling our home, so will be staying in our camper until we can live in the house. I wanted to make it homey, comfortable, relaxing, and decorative.With two kids full time, + a bonus son, and two dogs, I figured i would venture from the “farmhouse” bandwagon that everyone is on. I’m not a very big fan of it anyway. I wanted something that would add life, and I wouldn’t have to rush to clean if one of my babies made an oopsie on the rug.This is perfect!Like the other 3 rugs I’ve purchased (one being a gift), the price is amazing for the high quality!No smell. Flattened out perfectly after a night with books laid on it. Soft. Thick. But not too heavy.I have shampooed my other rugs multiple times and they’ve held up great after almost 3 years!Love this company. Love the rugs. Always on point!

I was really surprised with the quality of the rug. The colors are beautiful. It looks slightly distressed. It’s very lush and comfortable under foot. It feels like a much more expensive rug than what I paid for it. I am extremely happy with my purchase. This was the rug number three before I found the right one. Highly recommend.

Very thick and soft with a beautiful pattern. I got this for use in my kitchen.The colors are VERY bright (I got the red) but I like the look of it.After a few days of use there is still one corner that sticks up a little; I'll try putting a brick on it to flatten it out.

I purchased washable rugs, only to find that my dogs could destroy them in a matter of days. They are not really very washable and are basically heavy fabric with a printed design. I purchased these rugs to replace the washable rugs, and love them!!!! I have purchased three of this color for one of my bedrooms. A good vacuum and a portable pet carpet cleaner are sufficient to maintain these lovely rugs. I also have them in two other designs and colors from the same company. They are vibrant, soft and don't shred when my dogs circle and lay down. Perfect for my needs!

This rug is a great option for anyone with Persian rug taste but not a Persian rug budget. The colors are very vibrant and the rug is a lot more plush than I expected. I was considering getting a rug pad to put underneath because I expected a rug at this price point to be on the thinner side but I was pleasantly surprised that no rug pad is needed. It feels very soft under my feet. And it surprisingly flattened out almost immediately after unrolling it. The pattern is very appealing, but if you look very closely it does look more pixelated than a higher end rug would look, but that’s ok. I didn’t expect perfection for $100. There’s also a spot near the edge where the design goes a little wonky but it’s not super noticeable unless you’re really staring at it. I’ve only had this rug for less than a day so I can’t speak to its longevity but it seems pretty sturdy. I got this rug to replace a 3 year old high-pile black shag rug that had gotten matted down and collected every last speck of dust and debris that got tracked on to it. Never again will I get a rug like that. I’m happy to have this colorful, easy to clean vintage-looking rug in its place!

Absolutely love the color and quality of this carpet. The navy blue is vibrant and the thickness is just right with a 3/8” pad underneath. I was very concerned about buying without seeing but I am very satisfied with 3 different sizes for my open floor plan. Some say the lines are not perfectly straight, but that makes it have a more handmade feel rather than a cheaper looking machine made carpet!

Unlike everyone else, I bought the light blue/black, 2.7x5, to cover a worn looking area on my berber carpet. It’s in a room with 4 other area rugs, none of them match, but are similar in style, they all look great together, and work well with my eclectic decor. The rug came neatly rolled in thick, protective plastic, and flattened out fast, with a few heavy books on the corners overnight - and the books probably weren’t even necessary. No chemical odor that I could detect. It is surprisingly PLUSH compared to some other area rugs I have by the same manufacturer. Feels great to walk on! I have it in a high traffic area, so that will be a true test to see how it holds up long term.Since I have it over my wall to wall carpet, it stays put, with no need for a pad underneath. It feels very cozy underfoot. My cat has been laying on it since I put it down!The description says “light” blue, but I wouldn’t call it light. The color is a little deeper/darker in person, compared to the online photos, but I’m happy with it. I was worried it would be more of a true blue, or too pale of a blue, but it isn’t. It’s a warm grayish blue, with a touch of green. Maybe you could call it a muted peacock blue, or Prussian blue, or the blue green color of the ocean in the North Atlantic, as you are getting close to land. Mine does NOT have those patches of fake distressing, which I’m very happy about. The design/pattern is perfect, some reviews said their design was uneven, edges wider on one side or something like that….the design on mine is fine.Will anyone be fooled into thinking it’s a real Persian rug? Hell no - but it’s really soft and really pretty. I could see it working in a lot of different decors. Next time I’m in need for a larger area rug, I would definitely consider this Safavieh Vintage Hamadan. Being so thick, plush, and cozy, it would be a great rug for a living room or bedroom. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, soft, affordable rug!Edit 12/24 - bought the 9 x 12 size as a gift for my mom. Came quickly, folded, not rolled, with a few wrinkles, but everything flattened out quickly. It is very beautiful and looks much more expensive than it was. we have it in a concrete floor, and i think it is soft enough for my mom’s needs that no padding will be necessary. It still has a slight chemical odor, but i am sure that will go away. My mom really loves it!

Nice and thick..I highly recommend this carpet ..It is well made and I have a cat to worry about...If she barfs, that is ok. They carpet will be easy to clean and sound proof.. This was my second choice...It proved to be the best choice. The carpet is indeed slightly less than 2. 4 inches... I would buy it again.
