OneTrip Parts USA Run Capacitor 7.5 UF - 7.5 MFD 370 VAC Flat Oval

HVAC tech inspected and tuned up my cooling system. Pulled the Blower Run Capacitor and put it on his electrical output reading device. Told me the capacitor was not putting out a full charge. I asked him what it would cost to replace the capacitor. He replied with "$112". My jaw hit the ground and while he was referring to his hand held device supposedly looking to find me a better price, I looked up the item on Amazon. Price, $11.99 with a five year warranty. HVAC guy's capacitor warranty was for 30 days. The $112 did not include installation which he wanted another $60.He informed me that is the industry standard to charge these prices. I understand the labor side of the equation, but I will not tolerate these ripoff artists overcharging me for a simple capacitor. And the capacitor only took me two minutes to install.Always be aware that these people don't care about customer loyalty when it comes to money.

I had a capacitor go out on my condenser in the summer and paid over $250 to have it replaced. I bought this one when the capacitor went out on my fan motor. It works perfectly! Everything I needed to know to replace it was on YouTube. Don't pay a repair person to rip you off! Even if this was the wrong part to replace when my fan stopped working, it was worth the ten bucks to find out!

AC unit works after putting this in. If it meets your specs the price makes it worth buying. Don't use it if it's not the right specs.
