Why did you pick this product vs others?: First, to be clear: I am a die-hard Dremel fan. Always have been, always will be. BUT: I blow through these Dremel abrasive wheels like they're chocolate cake: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FBF3OM, so I thought I'd at least try this brand to see if I could save some money, bc these are a ton cheaper than the Dremels. I am beyond impressed with these wheels! I had different levels of grit loaded on all 3 Dremels on my bench this morning and I'm thrilled at how well they work and how long they last. They blew through solid rust, polished up sold brass, and were quick to swap out when they did wear down. An additional item to mention: as these wear down and the little bits they're made of go flying off, they don't hurt as much when they fly into your skin as the Dremel versions. Led me to think the Dremel versions are made of harder-sharper ... fiber bits? I loaded the beige Dremel bit on one machine and the "brown" version (it's actually beige, too) in this brand and the Dremels really are a lot tougher ... fiber bits? But I like having various levels of grit, I don't need the hardest on every item, nor do I need the softest. With these as an addition to my beloved Dremel wheels, I have a much fuller palate to choose from when working. It's very handy having more than just 2 levels of grit to choose from. These work wonderfully and I will buy them again and again, in addition to the Dremel wheels. These will save me a ton of money, too.

Love these little wheels to polish holes and inner diameters. They disintegrate quickly but are a lifesaver for any tooling marks. Work fantastically on aluminum. Steel burns them quickly but they hold their own!

They work well, but some of them were defective.

I've read some reviews that complained that these or similar fall apart easily, and that's going to be true depending upon how you use them. They're really soft (buff) not wire, and if working with an object that has any kind of sharp edge, it's going to probably start shredding the wheel. If it happens, know that you get quite a few of each color grit in the bag, and they aren't that pricey. For smooth surfaces like removing a resin / metal powder mix to expose the metal surface... these have worked well, beginning with the course grit and working to the 400 grit buff. I typically use water either trickling or in the sink basin as it helps remove the resin debris keeping the buff and object cleaner as i work. I've still got a full bag of these left, so not exactly tearing through them.

I bought these to sand my small wood carving projects and they were great. I use a slow to medium speed on my rotary tool and only apply a medium amount of pressure. They're great at sanding around details and blending high/low points. Make sure to wear eye protection when using because fragments of the wheel will come off during use. Overall great sanding wheels when used correctly, especially for the price. Just remember that they're made for detailed use and not sanding or polishing a huge area.

I had a small project and needed some new bits. Price was great on these so decided to give them a try. Overall they did the job but wore out pretty quickly. I was able to do what I needed but was expecting them to hold up longer than they did

I think this is an update, these are different gradations, and used with a Dremel they can clean and polish lots of stuff. I store these with mini rotary brushes in a big clear plastic jar, and note the gradations on the lid.

Product worked well. Definitely not for long use but does the job if used properly and for the correct application.

My first time buffing and this is so easy. They fit into my dremel easily (still learning how to use the dremel). Research tells me that I have to start with a low grit working up to a higher grit. I used a very tarnished copper ring which has turned like rust colour... and restored its shine back using these wheels. Great for beginners!

Smooths wood really well, great for smoothing carvings. You have a choice of 4 grits. Works perfectly in Dremmel tool. 40 pack will last a few years for most crafters.

Excelente opción. Utilizo distintas herramientas en el Dremel y estas me han salvado varias veces. Para pulir son muy buenas y el desgaste es normal (no se desgastan más rápido de lo habitual)
