Photochromic Progressive Multifocal Reading Glasses Blue Light Blocking Semi Rimless No line Transition Sunglasses

I have a standard progressive perscription, and have purchased several progressives online in the past. This pair is easily the nicest looking and most functional pair of progressives I have bought to date. Super comfortable, the earpieces do not dig into my ears, and very light for motion/athletics. Overall, I love the design. I have bought other progressives that use coatings, and the coating causes light reflections in the lens that are quite annoying. I am having no such issue with this pair. The glasses absolutely tint, too. The tint is not comprable to a Transitions coating, but in window tint terms, it's about a 35 tint. That's pretty good when you do not have sunglasses. If you do have a preferred pair of sunglasses, this pair comes with a very nice hard case. Lastly, compared to other off-the-shelfs, the clarity at the top of the lens is better than others. This pair serves as a second pair to my Ray Ban frameless with transition and UV coating, over $500 dollars. If you accept what you are buying in comparison, I think you will be pleased with the performance of these glasses.

I like the darkening feature in sunlight. I have had two pairs of these glasses with the identical plastichinges. They are fragile and break easily, even when taking care to put them back in the case after each use.

The area of magnification is acceptable but the clear area at the top is so narrow it's very difficult to see clearly at a distance. The point was to not have to put reading glasses on every time I need to see close. If I have to take these off to see beyond 20 feet then what have they solved? But the biggest complaint is the lens darkening. Or lack thereof. They do not darken AT ALL. Zero. Complete false advertising on that front. Again, the point is to not have to switch between glasses and sun glasses. I didn't expect them to turn dark but since they're advertised to darken I figured a little dark would do well enough but as I said...zero. You can pick up a pair of reading glasses at the drug store for a couple dollars. Don't waste your money on these.

They are nice but they are to much magnified and I can't use them but awesome looking and nicely built

The reading glasses are better than i expected. They are light weight and fit very well.

Bifocal line too high for me.

Excellent for reading seems to darken very well when outside.
