Good after fixing the intonation
Just received this guitar today. The way that it came, I would rate it 2 or 3 stars. The intonation was horrible and it needed to be set up. I did some research on how to file down the nut and adjust the bridge, and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. It is playable now and the intonation is good so long as I don't press the strings down too hard on the first few frets. I did have to buy a few tools in order to set it up, which added to the overall cost, but I can use them with other guitars, so I didn't mind. I followed the instructions here: http://fretmd.com/electric-guitar-nut-setup/ Plugged into my Fender Super Champ X2, it sounds really good.I bought this for my 20 month old son to grow into, since he's shown an interest in my other guitar and instruments. It's a little heavy for him to wear standing up, but he likes to strum it on the table or with me holding it. I will probably play it more than him for a while O:-) The neck is very smooth and nice to play, and the guitar body has a nice finish (although the color was a little uneven on the side of the guitar - nothing all that noticeable).For the money and for my purposes (kid's guitar and something to leave lying around to practice), I'm pleased. I would recommend this for someone who isn't afraid to put a little extra work into the guitar or who is willing to have it set up for some extra cost. Without setting it up, a kid could pretend play to be a rock star, but not really learn guitar on it.

Great for practice, travel, or young beginners.
It works as it should but sounds a little bit better with a capo when using open chords. Small speaker for travel but of cores it sounds better through other speakers/effects pedals. Cool looking travel guitar stays in tune well enough esp for a kid not trying to record a song.

Poorly packaged, missing guitar knob and string action was to high. Unplayable.

My five year old got this for Christmas and loves ...
My five year old got this for Christmas and loves it. He has no idea how to plan but wants to take some lessons. He just plays with it as a toy more than a serious musical instrument.
