Solid build, but doesn’t measure up to the competition.
They were fine. Like I said, liked the build, they felt sturdy. The audio profile thing felt a little gimmicky, and overall they just didn’t hold up to some comparable IEMs like the Fiio FH3s, which had a much wider soundstage and more clarity. Loud bass but not very tight. They weren’t terrible, you can just get so much better for a few dollars.

TRI I3 Pro 10mm Planar Magnetic +1DD+1BA Hybrid - great for mouth breathers!
I have an issue that i never experienced with another IEM, this being my first with a planar driver. I can easily get perfect seal using Azla's or SpinFits, or Dekoni's because of how deep these seat into my ear canal. BUT because of that the drivers stop working from the pressure created when my mouth is closed. Everything is muffled. As soon as i open my mouth i get full rich sound and is especially noticeable with my right ear. So maybe it has something to do with my eustachian tubes not being clear? Or maybe it has something to do with an improperly vented shell? Every other IEM i own (Multiple FIIO and TIN and KZ etc) i am able to gently blow air through the nozzle. Not these. They are sealed up. and I think the air pressure created from jamming these things deep in your ear canal is restricting the drivers from functioning properly.

Flashy design, comfortable, and impressive sound.
HBB Kai is an interesting combination of flashy design, good ergonomics, and just enough impact in the sound to keep things interesting. Comfort is usually an issue for me when it comes to earphones of this size, however the shell contours do a good job keeping them secured comfortably in my ears, and I generally get a good seal with the stock tips. Sound here is actually more well balanced to my ear than i was expecting. It still has an elevated low bass response with midbass being a bit north of neutral as well, however the upper mid to treble response is well bodied, present, and (very importantly) boosted in the right places, while still being pleasantly smooth. This actually reminds me of the moondrop aria, though maybe with a bit more impact to the bass (i unfortunately don't have one here to compare directly). This combination makes for a very pleasant and well rounded V shape response, that is often overdone at this price range. A side note about the packaging, the included carry case is good quality and the box isn't overly large or wasteful. Overall this is an excellent package for the price, especially for those looking to have a bit of fun with bass while still looking for a properly rounded hifi experience. I would suggest a Q1 dip of 2 or 3 db around 180hz, for a more neutral sound, but out of the box this should satisfy most people. Excellent work.

Warm and smooth
Have had these for a little while now and they sound exactly how you'd think they sound if you looked at the fr graph. Bass is punchy and doesn't bleed into the mids, vocals sound very good and natural. The treble however is awfully dark because of this they don't sound super detailed and I find myself turning up the volume louder than I normally would to make up for it, however I think these are still a good set and for people who don't like or are treble sensitive this is a set you might want to consider.

Great Sound For Most Listeners!!
These do sound good but they created abit of an edge from upper mids to the highs for my ears.Compared to the Hana,,,for me the Hana win hands down.Just so we'll tuned, non fatiguing in all area's.
