What's the difference between this one and the mercola organic collagen besides price? the label on this product reads "made from organic beef bone"

The original product, "Collagen from Grass Fed Bone Broth", was a capsule. The Product picture here is a tablet with Maltodextrin added as one of "other ingredients". Because of the Maltodextrin addition, I returned the bottle for a refund.

Does this product help with weight loss I saw many adds and it was the first thing mentioned but not here?

It may we’ll be a factor of collagen that it helps with weight loss? I can’t speak to this as it is not the reason for my use of the Mercola Product mentioned here…I use to help muscles, connective tissues and joint health …

Is this cooked at high temperatures or low temperatures to preserve the vitamins?

Bought For My Senior Dogs

My integrative medicine veterinarian recommended I buy Dr. Mercola brand collagen pills for my older dogs - and so I did! They don't need the flavor disguised... they crunch them right up! These are expensive. I will be buying the bigger bottle next time to last me a bit longer before buying again. My 70 pound, 14 year old lab takes 2 each day, and my 200 pound, 8 year old English mastiff takes 4 each day. They've had one bottle's worth so far, along with 500mg turmeric and 500mg vitamin C daily. I haven't yet noticed a substantial difference in how they move, but I believe these will help if continued. My dogs eat a raw diet and I give natural treats chosen to support their joint and bone health. This is something I'm choosing to do to hopefully reverse existing weakness (in her hips) for my 14 year old lab, and to delay any joint related issues that my mastiff might develop.
