Merrell Men's Jungle Moc Leather Waterproof Ice+ Moccasin

These took about 5 days to arrive, like it said, no surprise. I am VERY pleased with the shoes. First I checked for fit, and I had ordered my normal size and these fit perfectly. They may seem a little snug, but unless you don't mind coming out of a slip on shoe, you want it to fit a little snug. I can feel the arch support, and I like that. The inside has a soft material lining that is comfortable. Now to the slip on part. For me, if I don't have the shoe up against something like a wall or furniture, when I try to put my foot in, the shoe slides away. When I block it against something, my foot slips in easily and snug secure. The rear of the shoe is sturdy enough so that it does not double over under your heel, at least when new. I took a 2 mile walk in the neighborhood the first day, they were comfortable. I found nothing to dislike about the shoe. Everything about it pleased me.

Waited about a month to review in case there was any changes, but I'm pleasantly surprised. These are great slip-ons. Comfy, easy on and off, solid construction, and great grip. I was looking for something I could wear at work to save my disintegrating chucks. These are a fantastic replacement. My only con is that they're not super stable walking along inclines, but that's the nature of shoes you don't tie. They tend to slide around your foot and I could see someone rolling their ankle if they're not careful. Haven't noticed any of the squeaking other people have talked about.In all, great shoes. Would recommend. Will most likely buy again.

This is my 5th pair of Merrell Moc Slip-Ons and I will keep buying them as long as Merrell makes them. True to size and fit, this is a slip-on that doesn’t feel like slip-ons. Once my foot is in the shoe it feels like having a tied shoe on. I wear these everywhere, and bought this particular color for wearing around the house instead of slippers.I’ve been wearing this model of Merrell Mocs for 16-hours a day over the past 10 years, and finally decided to purchase these 1/2 size larger and they are a perfect, comfortable fit for a slipper. I tried Merrell’s actual slippers and didn’t like them for sake of no arch support. However, these Mocs are so lightweight they are perfection for slippers.As for daily wear and tear, indoors and outdoors, these last me about 2 years before my wide foot starts separating the leather from the sole. If I worked only inside I would guess they would last twice that long. Being waterproof, I wear them everywhere, including traversing snow-covered sidewalks and fishing from boat or shore. They hike like a boot and, well, why have anything else on my feet.Last of all, it’s so nice to be able to slip out of them at the door, and back into them when leaving. No sitting and tying shoes is awesome. They also clean-up with a wet cloth or I can clean them at the sink if I get too much mud in the aggressive tread. They’re simply the perfect shoe.

These mocks are comfortable so far for normal walking and they do not cause any hot spots or blisters that I tend to get. I try to walk between one to two miles 3 days a week and so a good walking shoe is very important to me. Time will tell if it holds up to the usage. I got the light taupe color because of the lower price but I would normally get a dark brown color. The light taupe color will show dirt more and need more cleaning. So far it's a good shoe but only after three weeks use.

I did get blisters breaking them in because they are sturdy like a hiking boot. But once they do get broke in, I wear them for everything. They are a nice dress shoe, walking shoe, hiking shoe. They are absolutely waterproof. I wear them everywhere and for most things. I will have have holes in them before I give them up.

The hubs has some compression fractures in his spine and temporarily can't bend over to put on shoes. I didn't want to bend over to put on his shoes, either, and we decided to take a chance on some mail order shoes -- these. SUCCESS! Comfortable, can put them on without bending over, look fine. I don't know if they would be good for long-term standing or walking because he's obviously not doing a ton of that, but he's quite fond of them for everything else so far. Wears them half the time, alternating with some Oofos slipons.

I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and recently ventured into the Jungle Moc series. They make a great everyday shoe that is comfortable and stays on well. They fit true to size and do not wear out too quick.

I’ve been wearing these to walk between work/home and public transit daily for a few months now. Yesterday we had a sudden blizzard in my area that brought everything to a standstill, so I had to unexpectedly walk 4 miles home in the snow. These are not the shoes I would have chosen for that, but they were amazing. They kept my feet warm, dry, and comfortable under grueling conditions, better even than most other footwear I’ve worn specifically for this kind of activity. These are my first Merrell’s and now I’ll definitely be buying more from this brand.
