Perfect for the gym. Thick durable plastic,

So this is my second one next to my current one that made it all the way through deployment and held up really well. I dropped it down stairs (not recommended), and it held up really well, but I'm a bit disappointed that the new one (without the sleeve) is dented and I JUST took it out the box. I hope a spin in the dishwasher will soften it and bring it's shape back. I do have to say the plastic clip on the side does break easily, so suggest breaking it off and putting a carabiner on it as I did on my old one. Otherwise I'm going to keep buying these because they are just over all awesome to have!!!

Other than the lid, the product is awesome. The lid is nowhere near as durable as the jug. Mine had developed a small crack in the side wall of the lid, and would leak (I bought 2 jugs, and this only happened to 1 of them). I will give Gallon Gear credit, though. They sent me a replacement. Free of charge. Was planning on just buying a replacement, until I realized it was going to be almost 10 bucks. 3 dollars for the lid, and 6.50 for STANDARD shipping. A tad ridiculous considering the lid weighs 6 grams (I weighed it on a food scale). I do very much love these water jugs. They are very easy to carry around and will hold up in a daily carry back pack and under daily use. Only recommendation I have is that they change up how the replacement lids are priced. I was perfectly OK with paying 3 dollars for a new lid, until the "shipping" cost tripled the price. Especially considering that I paid 26 dollars for each water jug. I have no doubt the water jug itself will last forever. Thankfully they sent me a new one for free. Will definitely buy from them again in the event that want another jug of this nature.

Big. Usa Made, and fits ice cubes from my ice maker through the top. Thats a win to me.

I only gave it 4 stars because I have not used it as of yet. I filled the gallon jug up and it almost seems like its a tad bit bigger than a gallon, but lighter than most. Probab;y makes no sense but bare with me. I was currenlty using a gallon jug for Bodybuilding.com that I had for atleast two years. After is slipped out of my hand and broke, I decided to finally invest in this jug and the feel of it is pretty nice. I have the black one, along with the matching sleeve. Thus far, it feels like it is pretty durable and not flimsy. Make sure you clean it before you use it, just to ensure there are no issues. I have NOT used the sleeve yet, since it is not hot enough, but I will in May. That also fits the jug well. Hope this helps!

This is the second jug I have purchased. They are extremely durable. Good way to also track your water intake . Would highly recommend gallon gear !

This is a nice alternative for me. This jug was the answer for me. Customer service is as great as the product! I spent a few months going back and forth on whether I should purchase this or not. You think “it’s just a jug . Why so expensive?!” You try to justify it and you can’t quite make a good argument. Look no more. Im a service technician so I’m always driving . And I like my water filtered and cold. I’d spend about $3.00-$6.00 a day on filtered water just from the gas station (maverick typically) . So about $90-180 in water to drink 🤢 makes you sick thinking about it. Well I had a problem and this was the solution. I now just use my cold filtered water at home and carry it with me in this jug. Keeps it cool enough all day. 6:45am-6:00 pm. Also was another solution to drinking those larger arrowhead jugs while driving . They were not rigid at all so it was Not safe! This has a handle you can hold onto with ease and comfort. So for me , this was a nice solution and I wish I would have purchased this sooner. Thank you GCR / GG !
