We purchased this for our front door in our condo to prevent a family member with dementia from wandering out at night. It works great & is complex enough to prevent the family member from opening it or opening the door. It is very quick & simple for us to open & close-even if we’re in a hurry. It’s easy to install. We did have to use the drill for starter holes because our door frame is solid. The 3 shorter screws were sufficient to securely mount the lock on our door frame & the white color makes this barely noticeable when closed-another advantage to maintain safety of the family member. We just ordered another one for the family member’s door at home. Great product. Don’t hesitate to buy this.

Great product or child who likes to open front doors. We love it keeps it secure and knowing that he can't get out barry, durable and aesthetically please seem to eye. Very easy to install great material

The only reason I gave it a four instead of a five it's a little grabby when you first use it the first few times there's a little bit of a learning curve for me and or somebody else a little stronger you won't have no problem pulling it in unlocking it for women or somebody like a little kid with a little hands they will have a problem trying to open it especially if you attach it snug like they suggest that you do The appearance is white is very few of them on the internet that are why it goes and perfect with the door I believe that it will do everything that they're saying it would do I put it in place stood on the other side of the door and put this 200 plus against the door and it did not budge I think you'll be pleased with it I had to do a little bit of carpentry work with you send a video like I said I some insulation I just kind of stuck in the hole I install this yesterday and that was my first one and I did it in a hurry but that will go away I can fix that and and make that go away I just stuck some installation in there just to see what it would look like other than that I would purchase it I purchase a few of them if you got more than one door or the prices excellent matter of fact it had me skeptical because I'm figure maybe that other one was like 60 almost $70 and this one was like $13 I think and I'm like it got to be and the other one the flip lock is heavier and it's more heavy duty but it also looks more for industrial or a hidden door somewhere like a back door these right here you can put on the front door with other locks and give that added security I hope this helps somebody

This lock was super easy to install and is simple to use. I have grandkids who are little escape artists, so this gives me extra peace of mind knowing they can’t sneak out the door. It feels sturdy and works exactly how I hoped. Definitely recommend for anyone with adventurous little ones!

Good for protecting

Very easy to install and it's a solid lock. I think you'll break the door before you'll break the lock. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to fit.

This lock is very easy to install, taking only a few minutes to drill four holes into the door frame and then screwing the lock into the frame using the supplied screws. It adds an extra layer of security to any inward opening door, so that if the main lock is picked, intruders will then have to contend with this latch. On our doors, this lock allows the door to open by about 5mm before it hits the stopper, so it's not wide enough for intruders to peek inside or get a hand in, but unfortunately, it's also not wide enough for it to trip our reed sensors. It's an excellent design, easy to lock and unlock from the inside, the quality is great and it's a very affordable lock for that extra peace of mind.
