I’m very pleased with this door reinforcement lock. It feels sturdy and well made, and once installed, it adds an extra layer of security to the door without being complicated to use. Works great! Got it for my apartment door so the maintenance people can’t just let themselves in while I’m home by myself. Very easy to install, seems very durable and it’s a nice heavy metal and does not budge in the door at all. Goes right onto the frame and metal is thin enough that that you can still easily close the door

We purchased this for our front door in our condo to prevent a family member with dementia from wandering out at night. It works great & is complex enough to prevent the family member from opening it or opening the door. It is very quick & simple for us to open & close-even if we’re in a hurry. It’s easy to install. We did have to use the drill for starter holes because our door frame is solid. The 3 shorter screws were sufficient to securely mount the lock on our door frame & the white color makes this barely noticeable when closed-another advantage to maintain safety of the family member. We just ordered another one for the family member’s door at home. Great product. Don’t hesitate to buy this.

This product was absolutely one of the best things I have ever purchased. It’s easy to use it locks magnificently, Instructions are very good. It’s durable, lightweight, nice looking. I’m gonna buy several more for some of my other doors to secure them when I travel. Also, purchased to keep my very active grandson from opening doors, that he figured out in two seconds. This is a simple, unobtrusive lock to strengthen outside doors or safe room doors from being easily forced open or kicked in. I passed on the screws, that were provided with the unit, in favor of 3” torx screws to anchor the lock to a framing stud, not just the door’s frame. I recommend drilling pilot holes first. Additionally, one may need a dremmel tool or small saw and a chisel to adapt the lock to the door frame. It’s not difficult. The product is of high quality for a modest price.

This small, affordable lock is surprisingly easy to install and is unbelievably solid and strong. It takes a few attempts to learn to open it properly, but then it becomes easy. One thing to remember: be careful a faulty garage door doesn't lock you out because you can't open this lock from the outside. I found this lock quite reassuring.

Good for protecting

Very easy to install and it's a solid lock. I think you'll break the door before you'll break the lock. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to fit.

This lock is very easy to install, taking only a few minutes to drill four holes into the door frame and then screwing the lock into the frame using the supplied screws. It adds an extra layer of security to any inward opening door, so that if the main lock is picked, intruders will then have to contend with this latch. On our doors, this lock allows the door to open by about 5mm before it hits the stopper, so it's not wide enough for intruders to peek inside or get a hand in, but unfortunately, it's also not wide enough for it to trip our reed sensors. It's an excellent design, easy to lock and unlock from the inside, the quality is great and it's a very affordable lock for that extra peace of mind.
