I just had my first cup. This decaf coffee, Verna Street, “Sunday Drive,” is so rich and yummy I could easily think it’s regular coffee. I put homemade almond walnut creamer and a shot of maple syrup in it as I do my regular cup, and it really is smooth and soothing. It’s Swiss water decaf with low acidity at a decent price well under $15.

This decaf is the best! It’s smooth and rich with flavor. No bitterness. No jitters. I had to abstain from caffeine starting in April and I’ve been on the search for just the perfect decaf coffee. This is the one!

This is so good! You can taste the difference, the cleanest and smoothness of the coffee. I ordered the decaf and there's no stomach upset like some other coffees have that proclaim the use of the Swiss Water method. I just reordered.

Holy Moly!!!!!!!! I just received my Verena Street Swiss Water Process decaf. I had. no idea what they say. was so true. I am jumping with joy right, and cannot believe I am drinking a cup of decaf coffee and so late in the day. This coffee is unbelievable, and I truly do not believe I am going to buy my favorite store bought REGUALR coffee again!! The taste is amazing. I first wanted to buy this because I cannot drink coffee after 11-12 noon. It stays in my nervous system for 12 hours sometimes. I do not honestly even have a desire anymore to drink regular again. Thank you Verena! I will most definitely be ordering again before the week is over. No more nasty taste. for me.

I bought this because I am nearly finished the bag of Mississippi Grogg which I love. Both of these are swiss water process and still a very good price. I love the name of this one, Sunday Drive. It conjures up so many good memories. This is digestible and does not cause acid which is great. I don't think it makes me jittery. This one says it is a rich yet mellow blend and it is. I use almost two tbs. per cup because I make iced coffee and water it down. Yet it holds it's taste. This did taste like a mellow and smooth coffee. I did put creamer and a little sweetener in it and it was perfect. I switch between flavored and regular coffee for a change. This arrived smelling and tasting fresh. I hope they continue to make different decaf flavors.

I LOVE this coffee - no caffeine kickback, and an absolutely delicious taste. Buuuutttt.... they recently started charging $10 for shipping, and, much as I love it, it's not worth $22 a bag for me. :( I'm trying Allegro's swiss water coffee now... and I hope it's as good!

I have been decaffeinated since 1985. Trying to find a good decaffeinated coffee is very very difficult. I did not know that there was such a thing as a Swiss Water process. If you are a decaffeinated person or need to drink decaffeinated coffee this is the coffee you need to drink. It is absolutely phenomenon.

Update: Tried Mississippi Grog recently. Not what I had hoped for. It smelled wonderful mostly with butterscotch in the bag. But the brewed coffee just tasted like decaf coffee. Neither the caramel, or butterscotch or hazelnut could be tasted. I paid the higher price because I was out of my usual store brand hazelnut decaf and I thought I might like this since I use this brand in unflavored decaf all the time. I mix the regular decaf with a scoop of hazelnut to get the flavor I like but still taste coffee. I tried this Grog that way and straight using just this for all the scoops. Still could not detect special flavors. Disappointed. Somehow I thought I was ordering a flavored decaf variety but got the regular decaf. I do like it and had no chemical dizziness like I do from Non Swiss water processed decaf. Has a mild flavor but is strong enough to “taste “ the coffee. I’m no coffee expert but this works for me
