As a beginner watercolor artist I didn't want to spend a lot of money but also didn't want to get cheap supplies that would frustrate me. This set has worked out well. I'm not an expert on brushes, but these retain their shape and have nice movement while painting.

I have been learning watercolor and was searching for a set of brushes that were better quality than just craft paint brushes. I tried several other brands of brushes for watercolor but didnt seem to get the results I was expecting. I decided to purchase these after reading reviews and watching several artists reviews. I am so happy I decided to buy these! This is a wonderful set of brushes. They are beautiful for one, and they do hold water and paint well. The variety in this set is great. Since purchasing this set, I have added other Princeton brushes to my collection. All have been great! As I grow in skill, I will be adding more.

This set has exceeded my expectations! All of the brushes are extremely responsive (so easy to control with predictable results) and spring back nicely. They hold plenty of water too and are very well made. The big surprise was the triangular petal brush — never seen anything like it before, but it was love at first use! This set is an excellent value for the quality and usefulness, and a major upgrade over the cheap synthetic brushes i had been using. Highly recommend!

I’m new to watercolor, this set seems like good quality at an extremely good price for a nice mix of brushes. So far the brushes seem durable, keep their shape and perform the variety of painting styles/tasks that I am trying to do with them. Very happy I went with this combination.

I'm new to watercolor painting...to any painting, really. These were well priced and of nice quality for me to start off with. I'll likely look for some that are a tic better as I get better with my artwork.

I’ve been working with Loft Artist’s paintbrushes from Michael’s and they are nothing compared to these brushes. They are double the price for less brunches but they are the essential brushes for beginners. They hold up a good amount of water and maintain their shape. I love the feel of the wood and they are easy to use.

These are my most used set of brushes. The are durable,yet soft and hold a lot of water and paint. Very nice strokes and lines.

My first set of princeton brushes and so great that I get to try the different lines! The neptune 8 doesn’f have the best snap back, but it holds so much water, which is amazing!

Ces pinceaux sont d’excellente qualité. En particulier le n°6, qui est devenu mon pinceau préféré, meme si je commence aussi à apprécier le 8 (que j’aimais moins au début). Le poil de la gamme héritage est celui qui me plaît le plus. Il tient mieux le pigment et l’eau que le velvettouch et il a du ressort ce qui rend le geste très agréable (même avec le n°2). Le Neptune 8, lui, imite le petit gris, mais j’ai fini par l’apprécier aussi, meme si ce n’est pas mon chouchou. Seul le délai de livraison est un peu long (3 semaines) puisqu’ils viennent des USA, mais c’est indiqué et ils sont arrivés un peu avant la date estimée donc rien à redire. La qualité Pronceton est bien là

Absolutely stunning brushes. I am so pleased with these!!. They are more expensive than I would normally pay but they are worth it. They hold paint well. A nice selection of sizes and uses too. I’ve had them a week and they’re the only brushes I’ve used since then. It also has a Velvet Touch Angle Shader in the pack, a brush I have never come across before, and it’s been great fun learning how to use it by watching YouTube videos etc All in all, these brushes are an absolute joy!!
