Okay...so I am relatively new to woodworking, but I have always appreciated good tools, and I can tell you that this tool has been a tremendous addition to my panoply of great tools! I am making a Prie Dieux / Prayer Kneeler for my daughter, and I have had to do some joinery to accomplish this task. Though this is my first time using dowels for woodworking (I told you I was new to it!), my project was greatly simplified by this product! First, I used it to make a jig, and then I used the jig to shallowly drill holes, and then I went back to this tool and used it (lining it up with the shallowly-drilled holes at the end of my board) to drill the deeper and perfectly-centered and straight holes I needed for my dowels. It worked perfectly! Additionally, the instructions were relatively well written and easy to understand! I would definitely purchase again, or if I knew anyone was getting into woodworking, I would give it to him or her as a gift! Awesome product! :-)

This is really high quality and easy to set up and use. I like that you can clamp it down tight so it won't shift around when you start to drill.

Not great but a lot better than expected for the price. They could have done a lot better job centering it, it was not even close to being centered. I had to adjust the calibration nut (the nut under the two allen screws) close to one full turn CCW to center it but it’s within .002” now.

Really impressed with this jig. Currently building a toy box without screws, this jig has done me right on my joinery. Absolutely would buy again

I'm sure there are carpenters out there that can free hand drill true holes that match up and are at the perfect angle, etc., but I'm not one of them. All my work lines up beautifully now, thank you!!!

This is a very well built and sturdy jig. Perfect for daily use over and over again. Easy to set up and use.
