The LCD can be a cause of concern at times
6 month review time. I bought this cooler with the LCD display back in May 2022, and now I'm writing this in November 2022.This was my first liquid CPU cooler purchase and my first PC build in over 10 years. So I wanted to go all out on my build with all the LED bells and whistles (LED Fans, LED Memory, LED on GPU, LED on motherboard, etc.) so after doing some research the iCue software was the most compatible with other manufacturers. I also made sure that I got a case with plenty of ventilation (room for 10 fans).Pros:I never had any trouble with the CPU cooling. Even with gaming and running multiple virtual machines at the same time, my AMD Ryzen 9 5900X never got over 158 degrees Fahrenheit. There is some overclocking of the CPU which is automatically controlled by my motherboard, but nothing hard core. So if you do hard core overclocking, your results may vary. At idle, my CPU temp is around 114F.Cons:The only issues I've ever had is with the LCD screen and the LED ring on the pump. Oddly enough, the problems seem to resolve themselves given enough time (either just randomly or through a software/firmware update). Over the past six months I've had three unique issues happen with the LCD.The first was I got a triangle with an exclamation point on the screen within a few weeks of installing. I went through all the troubleshooting steps online and nothing seemed to work (updating the iCue software, firmware updates, disconnecting/re-connecting cables, etc.). I was about to RMA it and then one morning it starting working.Second issue was the LED ring light. I switch between color schemes depending on my mood and the holidays. So I was quite disappointed when the LED ring went all white and even some of the LEDs in the ring wouldn't turn on so it just looked awful. It was like this for about 2-3 weeks then a new firmware version came out and seemed to have fixed the problem. LED ring has been working fine since.Third issue happened this morning (Nov. 13) with the LCD screen. When I booted up the computer, the images on the LCD screen was jumping. Kind of like the old computer monitors that had a v-sync issue. It only did this for about 20 minutes. I'm assuming it was the cold weather as my home office was cold this morning and after the LCD screen warmed up the image jumping on the LCD cleared up on its own.Overall, I only give it three stars. The CPU cooling works great. However, having random issues with the LCD that seem to fix themselves on their own is a major turnoff.

It doesn't seem to cool my CPU properly, but maybe it's my fault
This AIO cooler does the job for the most part. In day to day activities and workloads it works just fine. However, in one particular game (NFS Heat) the CPU temps go up like crazy and the cooler cannot keep up with it. My average fluid temp is 29-30 degrees Celsius when the CPU is idle. My CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and the AM5 motherboard is ROG Crosshair X670E Hero and my video card is MSI Radeon RX 6950XT X Gaming Trio. However, in this particular game the fluid temp goes up to 36 degrees pretty fast (after 10-15 min of gaming) and then the whole system shuts down. I don't know why the CPU doesn't throttle properly. I assume this is the CPU, since the GPU temps are similar to what I get in other games. I wouldn't mind it throttling, I already have high FPS in the game so I wouldn't care (or feel) if the performance dropped, say, 20%, but it doesn't, the system just dies on me. I don't know if this is due to: 1) bad thermal paste application (after my first failed attempt at installing the cooler I had to re-apply new thermal paste, and I went with Arctic MX-4) or 2) bug in BIOS or Windows chipset drivers. The CPU was not overclocked. Under most workloads (including intensive ones like Cinebench stress test or 3DMark Timespy) the fluid temp never goes above 34 and the system is stable. So, guys, I simply don't know what to say. Supposedly, this cooler should handle the big guy 7950X but it doesn't work that well for me, hence the less than perfect score (which is assuming a mistake on my part, otherwise it should be lower).

Works well, noisy
The product took some finagling to get installed. Works well. Screen is cute. Sounds like a microwave that is on, just less loud than a microwave. Wish it were quieter, but it’s drawing air across a radiator, so it makes sense that it’s not quiet. The iQUE software is good. It even controls the other lighting effects of my ASUS motherboard.

Quality cooler as advertised
This cooler installed easily. I needed to ensure I knew which direction the air blew through the fans to make sure it exhausted correctly. Also, I thought the iCue software didn't find it, but I realized that I never plugged in the USB power so that was on me. Once I did that the iCue software picked it right up and it's working great. Really cool LCD screen and is highly customizable.

Wow this is very cool
Ok first the bad software problems at first now sortedThe fans are load at 1500rpm or above but in gaming who cares as you should have headphones on .The goodTemps are low at low rpm and fans are not load under 1499rpm I have 3080ti and 5900x in battlefield 2042 I get temps of upto 70c but my fans are running 1200rpm or under and have pump on balanced so not pushing to hard for best temps as well under and keeping pc running like a monster .The screen on the cooler is amazing and they changed the bracket to 4 thumb screws for AMD not that rubbish 2 thumb screws . So nice upgrade on the mounting side all in all its a high price but I'd you can get 5 years out of it worth it .

It's a really awesome piece of tech, but if you get this, I hope you are ready to gamble
This AIO really is awesome, the reviews merit it's beauty. But I hope you are ready to gamble, becuase since it's launch in OCTOBER LAST YEAR, it's got so many cripling issues that it's hard to recommend. The setup is very straightforward, but once it's up and you are ready to press that power button, keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't immediently show a red triangle on the LCD. Or even start angrily flashing red at you. Because mine did, even though I set it up properly, tried using and no using the USB splitter, powering off and on and off and on again. It just wouldn't work. In the end I wasn't too sure if it was a software or hardware issue. Though on the last few boots, in iCue it said there was a pump failure and the LCD displayed a fan with a "!" in red. So far the only "working" fixes for this are to RMA it or just lose it. I chose to lose it because I'd rather not waste time and money on something that could easily just end up as bad as the last. If you are lucky, it will work and do magic for you, but if you weren't (like me), then I'd advise waiting for a fix and sticking with you're old cooler.

Hope to god you don’t have to deal with Corsair support.
When it worked it worked amazingly well and does look the business, however the led ring on mine died a death, opened a support ticket with Corsair and to be honest it’s a nightmare they do not want to know and really don’t honour the warranty. Amazon however offered a full refund on return of the item at there cost so that’s what’s going to happen, NZXT Kraken here I come. PS. Having spoken to Corsair support via there ticket system they have admitted the product is at fault and offered to replace it under warranty, however as it was bought as a whole unit they insist on having the entire unit returned so if the screen develops a fault you would have to return the entire package as you received it not just the screen then when they receive the package they will ship another one to you, this will take around 2 to 3 weeks the only way they will ship you a replacement first is if you pay them the full cost upfront again and they will return that when they receive your faulty unit, this is open to abuse there end there is nothing to stop them saying it was damaged during install and not refunding you there a few people this has happened to.

Big cooling, no noise!
This cooler is big, you will probably need to buy a new case just to fit it. This just about fits in the Corsair 7000X. It's beautiful and it's quiet the 140mm fans really make all the difference with a custom curve. I'm running a 5950x and it cools it beautifully. Attached is a screen showing the max temps after being under full load for 10 minutes. It's amazing, the coolant barely goes above 40-45 and it's practically silent. The LCD is awesome and works well with the software, with the included RGB/Fan hub it's really easy to sync it with anything else you might have. You can even put custom gifs on it!Really good, quiet cooling but you need a really big case! Also mounting on AM4 is janky as! You have to like push the rear of the motherboard forward as you screw it unless you're upside down they'll wanna just retract behind the motherboard everytime you apply a little pressure. My first AIO and deffo worth the switch!

Unable to mount the unit.
wanted to upgrade my pc with a lcd AIO as my old AIO (also corsair) was getting noisy and the temps were not as good as they should be. This looked like the ideal solution. I did my homework and yes there does seem to be a few issues in the past but recent revie2s suggested these had been ironed out. Paid £215 for the 240mm radiator and it arrived in good time.HOWEVER... once i had installed the new fans and was ready to mount the lcd i found i was having difficulty with the risers provided... tried multiple mounting plates all with the same issue. the risers for AMD AM4 are too wide Really a week into the problem still no solution from corsair currently i will have to put my old radiator back in... for such an expensive unit you'd think the basics would have at least been checked. when i finally get this installed ill update the review
