What is the best volume hxwxd for this? port size?

The best? I couldn't say. I have them loaded in 2x18 yamaha club series and home built 1x18's copied from some basic sub cabinet. Both setups sound fine.

Nope. They are actually pretty useless. Tried 3 different box styles and sizes and they don't hit anything. I've sold them and bought a eminence sigma pro since. That I recommend. Unreal lows and can go loud. Unlike these Rockville. Spend the extra and get the eminence sigma pro

Is there an optimal sealed box, or ported box dimensions specifically for these drivers, ( rvp18w8 )or am i ok to use standard calculations?

PERSONALLY I USE PORTED CABS ESPECIALLY FOR SUBS. YOU CAN USE MANY DIFFERENT DESIGNS AS LONG AS YOUR CAB IS PORTED EVEN REFLEX CABS.
