This Start/Stop button looks really good quality. It has a gloss finish rather than a matt, but looks every bit as high quality as the original when fitted. There are no instructions included with the button, and some people have said they resorted to taking the Start/Stop switch and assembly out to fit, but this really isn't necessary, and risks leaving marks on the dash from incorrect prying of the assembly. I will explain how to easily fit the button without any removal of the switch or assembly.Firstly, turn your car on and turn the heaters up - this is especially important in colder weather - then wipe the old button with an alcohol wipe or isopropyl and a cloth while you're waiting. Once the heaters have warmed up a bit, take the small black adhesive that is included in the packaging of the new button out of the bag and paper wrap, and gently pop it between the heater vents to warm up. Leave this for several minutes to get warm/hot, and then place it on the Start/Stop button, pushing it and spreading it across the button like a putty. Apply a little pressure and gently twist to cover the button well, and finally make a pointed end which you will use to pull on, but DON'T pull it out yet. Switch the heaters off and leave the adhesive to cool for 20-30 minutes while still attached to the button (open the doors to speed up). Once cured, you should be able to pull the old one straight out in one quick movement. Line up the pins on the new button and gently push until it clicks into place.
