MAXPOWER Pipe Wrench Set 10" 14" 18", Aluminum Plumber Wrenches, Straight Plumbing Wrench

I bought this 2 years ago to make it easier to rebuild hydraulic cylinders. Nice and light, teeth have not dulled, and bar did not bend. I put a long cheater bar on the end of it once and the teeth held grip just fine.

I am unable to tell the difference between this wrench and the number one main brand wrench. I am very impressed with the quality and value of this wrench.

Is good but not recommended for professional work.

Works great

I needed to tighten the shut off valves under my bathroom sink. All the wrenches I had at home didn’t do anything. This literally turned them on the first try and I didn’t even have to use anything on the fixtures to loosen them (like soaking in vinegar or using WD-40). This is worth the money as it’s not too heavy and it was very easy to use. I’m not a professional plumber or DIY person but I can figure just about anything out with the right tool and this was the right tool.

Moves everything I need to move for PVC, might not be suitable if you are really getting after tightening or loosening rusty nuts on a tractor or something like that.I like that it's light enough I can put it in a tool belt and walk around with it. I have a slightly smaller steel/iron one that's noticeably heavier after carting it around for an afternoon.

I don't like that they paint the aluminum casting with a thick grey enamel, seems like that is done to hide the sins of the casting....I don't recall other brand like Ridgid being painted they are either plain metal or coated with chip resistant substance that is more durable than the thick enamel on this product, the hanger hook eye hole was not properly finished and had some sharp metal flashing that could cut your finger if not filed down. The jaw teeth were sharp and the knurled adjustment ring operated smoothly....there were graduation markings on the jaw leg to indicate opening size.

I bought these wrenches with no real expectations. I am a pipefitter/plumber and needed them for work. I have always used the Ridgid pipe wrenches but I didn’t want to pay the price. I have used the 18” almost everyday for over 2 weeks and I find them very good. They grip nicely, no slipping and they release when you go to tighten a fitting. Very lightweight and easy to adjust. There is a lifetime warranty on these wrenches. I highly recommend trying them out for yourself.
