Good Value for Great Performance
I highly recommend this power supply. It was a reliable solution when my previous unit failed and has continued to perform well since installation. Despite its affordable price, it does not run excessively hot. Installation was straightforward, and it fits well in my current micro ATX case.

A good, midrange power supply for full size PC towers
This power supply replaced a 9 year old device in a tower PC. It is far more efficient than the old one and installed cleanly. It is also significantly quieter, and provided good value for the money. It had all the appropriate connectors and all were marked. I especially liked the small "tester" block that allowed me to "see if the fan runs" before dismantling the PC.

Fantastic bang for buck psu for lower power builds.
***Update*** The original system has been rebuilt a couple times, now it has a 3060 12gb gpu in it, still crankin along. I've purchased several more of these psu's and they just perform. I just built another core i3 12100F with a 3050 6gb gpu and the psu barely gets warm. I've purchased 4 in total from this brand now. Till I can find a reason to spend more for the same thing, I'm gonna be buying these. Solid psu for systems that don't need a ton of power. I just built a core i3 12100F with a 1060ti 6g, 512gb nvme, couple case fans, this is just a bench system. It "can" do some 1080p gaming but that's not it's job. I dropped Redhat 8 on a 256gb nvme that I will swap back and forth as I need the OS. I ran stress-ng for 3hrs at full tilt boogey and this little box just rocked it. I wanted to test everything, make sure the motherboard was going to hold up, I got the cpu second hand, and also the gpu. I read a number of other reviewers claim scary smells coming from their psu's so I hoped to hammer this thing and see if I could stress it beyond it's capabilities. I didn't have any complaints from any of this hardware. The psu performed perfectly. I can't complain one bit, 80+ Bronze? less than $40? I mean, what's not to love? If you right-size your psu for your system you should be golden. My system according to pcpartspicker should draw about 288w. That makes this psu the perfect sweet spot. I liked it so much that I purchased the bigger brother the 850w fully modular version and I'm currently stress testing that system and its not even breaking a sweat. I'm very pleased with this psu. I might have found my new favorite psu brand.

Budget-Friendly Power Supply with Reliable Performance
The ARESGAME AGV Series 500W Power Supply is a solid choice for budget-conscious builders looking for a reliable, 80 Plus Bronze-certified PSU. While it may not have premium features like modular cables, it delivers stable power output and decent efficiency for entry-to-mid-level gaming PCs. Key Features & Specs: ✅ Wattage: 500W – Suitable for mid-range gaming builds ✅ 80 Plus Bronze Certified: Ensures 85% efficiency under typical loads ✅ Non-Modular Design: Comes with pre-attached cables, which may require extra cable management ✅ Single +12V Rail: Provides consistent power delivery for GPUs & CPUs ✅ Built-in Protections: Includes Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Power Protection (OPP), and Short Circuit Protection (SCP) ✅ 5-Year Warranty: Shows confidence in durability & longevity Performance & Compatibility: 🔹 Perfect for mid-range gaming PCs running GPUs like the GTX 1660, RTX 3060, RX 6600XT, and similar 🔹 Quiet fan operation with decent airflow, though not the quietest on the market 🔹 Handles everyday gaming and productivity tasks well but may not be ideal for high-end GPUs or overclocking Pros & Cons: ✅ Great price-to-performance ratio for budget builds ✅ Stable power delivery for mid-tier components ✅ Decent efficiency with 80 Plus Bronze certification ❌ Non-modular cables can create clutter ❌ Not ideal for power-hungry GPUs (RTX 3070 and above) 💡 Final Verdict: The ARESGAME AGV 500W is a solid budget power supply that delivers reliable performance for mid-range gaming rigs. If you need a no-frills, affordable PSU for a build that doesn’t require excessive power, this is a great choice. However, if you’re running a higher-end GPU or need modular cables, you may want to look for a higher-wattage or modular option. 🔌🔥

Working well on older PC
Only had to modify one set of connectors to fit my old tower PC, working like a charm. PC up and still kicking, old doesn’t mean it’s can’t be fixed!

A great power supply so far
The price was unbeatable. I ordered at 10:00AM and is was delivered before 10:00pm on the same day. The unit was well packaged and came with a power cord. When I plugged it in, it worked immediately. When I first started to go to some web pages I heard the power supply spinning up and thought "What the heck?" After 5 minutes everything settled down and the power supply has been rock solid for the 3 days I have had it. There are a lot of cables so if you like a tidy computer, you have work to do. For twice the price you can get the 850w modular power supply (you pick what cables you attach). I was only 80 percent sure it was the power supply and not something else, so I went with the quick and inexpensive option. (People have occasionally written online that the power button assembly was bad on their unit). For me, the power supply was the issue and this solved the issue. This power supply has everything that you need. If you are using it in a Dell with a dvd drive you will require a simple SATA to MSATA (four pin) connector. This runs 6 dollars on Amazon. All and all, this is a great power supply. If you need more power you can get the 850w modular power supply and have less cable mess and more power for higher end graphics cards.

Great Value for Money
This is the first time I bought this brand. I wanted something to test my motherboards. I'm very impressed by it. Very quiet and does what it should. I'm not a gamer. 500W is more than enough.

Cables should have colors to identify polarity.

I just bought 3 750w and all of 3 blow !!! Was mining with them at 24/7 power draw of 550 but hey they blow after 1 week.

PSU was functional. Strong rubber smell. The fan is too noisy for me at 4 feet distance. Fan profile seems agressive and half of the fan opening is blocked by a piece of molded plastic on the inside - it’s probably one of the reasons for the noise. I guess i got what i paid for, since this is one of the cheapest PSU; build quality goes with the price.
