I see sound in the specs @74db. Is that the minimum, is it louder or softer based on how many amps you are using?

Not sure manufacturers have to measure this adhering to any standards. But I can say this unit is less noisy compared to my Generac 9200e.

Does it produce true Sine wave?

While many with this model of generator have powered some electronics like TVs and stereo equipment with this generator, it is recommended to use a true inverter generator , For example I plugged in my modern washer and dryer in to this unit, they would not power on, then I bought a second inverter generator , and they powered on fine and still run to this day with no problem, but only with a true inverter gen,
