The media could not be loaded.  This review is for the 12-pack of 6-inch window Candles with Timers--they arrived today, and I set them up with batteries; I am quite pleased with them. I didn't want to spend $40 or so on the ones that looked a little better; these are imitation candles, and I'm not trying to pass them off as anything other than that! The best thing about them for me is the automatic timer feature.My main concern with real candles is fire hazard--we have two rambunctious kittens who get into everything; furthermore I've used real candles in holders on walls in the past, and had problems with soot marking the wall. Finally, the fact that these are on a timer was a selling point, as I never am consistent with turning these things on and off daily at the proper times. Note there is no actual timer to set--they are timed from when you first turn them on by screwing the cap over the batteries--minimal fuss and minimal maintenance.As others indicate, these do not come with instructions, but most people can insert batteries and screw on a cap, right? I found the cap was a tad tricky to get threaded correctly, but a little patience and steady hands did it for me.I used three different holders, since these came as a 12-pack; for the ones that fit loosely I simply wrapped the bottom part with painter's tape until they fit more snugly into the particular holders. One of my holders had a very tight fit, but I was also able to secure it by wrapping a small area of the candle's bottom edge with painter's tape; just enough so that it would "stick" in the holder.The "flame" is a soft, dim amber (I wouldn't call it orange), and they flicker ever so slightly--I tried to show that in the video.Do they look just like real candles? No, but I'm not trying to pass them off as real--they emulate candles, and you get the idea when you see them, in their little candlestick holders. For the record, I use an artificial tree, as well!I could have paid more to get more realistic-looking artificial candles, but wanted an economy item; these are great for my needs, and you get an entire dozen; I would purchase them again.

I ordered these battery operated candles for my window decorations during the Christmas season. The timer worked great, and the candles were exactly as they appeared online. The light is a yellowish light, not a white light. You do have to use the suction cups in order to secure them onto your windows. I have taken the batteries out of them and stored them for next year. I hope they work as well next year as they did this year. Great value for the money.

I bought this set few weeks ago. It worked well the first 2 weeks, then the problems started. Some of the candles started blinking no flickering 24 hours a day. Later half of the candles went dark, and never came on.I've try resting them multiple time to no avail.I've contacting the seller, but never got repose back.A complete waste of money.

I have used these indoors in my Halloween displays. They look great and the timer function is nice. Would give 5 stars except 2 candles stay on all the time/the timer function isn't working, and for the other ones I thought the batteries had gone dead but when I went to replace I found the base just needed tightened up. Once I did that with all of them, they all continued to work.

The color is wayyyy too orange but we just kept them because it was too much trouble to return and hunt down another set with exactly what we wanted (flickering, timer, battery operated, etc). It would be nice if they came with holders, as we have 36 windows in our house and it's a huge expense buying something to hold them - on their own they keep falling off our old Victorian uneven windowsills. My husband says they make our house look really creepy and would be perfect for Halloween....

These are the easiest things to use. From the moment you put the battery in it turns on for 6 hours. I wish that was adjustable or longer but it is what it is. I asked the company if I could tinker inside and they said no it's a chip.I've had them on all season and they still work fine on the same double a batteries. they're not orange like some others have suggested but more yellow orange like a real candle would be. They look quite realistic. The base is stable enough to stand in the window sill but not to withstand a lot of knocking around with blinds or pets. Overall super cheap and easy way to have window candles for Christmas!

Needed replacement candles for my 10yr old GE's (which started dying after 10 yrs of use) and purchased these. Have them in windows and set to turn on around 5pm. After 1 day, some of the candles are still on the following morning, and in the evening some are on and some are not. With a smack to the bottom, some of the unlit ones turn themselves back on. Very annoying. All have brand new eveready batteries, so the batteries are ruled out as the issue. They are the most inconsistent little annoying candles I have ever dealt with - and I am tired of running around my house every evening and morning to see which are working and which are not. I would never recommend these to anyone.

can't say enough how I love these. the flame is yellow but bright enough to see from the street, I have them in all my windows. the part I love the most is that they turn off and on automatically. the are on when it gets dark and off at sunrise. Absolutely recommend these. would give 6 stars if I could. I ordered 2 packages and they all worked.
