expensive but worth it.
The closest chip I have found to the quality I loved that were made from the 40's to the 80's I am sure if government regulations were changed they could re introduce the elements from years ago but are banned now. I love them drop dead Frito- Lay

These are the real deal but not as good as the old days, beware poor packaging
These chips are great and full of flavor, but of course way overpriced. They are not the same as years ago but are still good enough to take me back to my old days in PA. They actually were very fresh, but packaging was poor, no packing materials used. If you can find them in a store, buy them as it will be a better buy and less chance for smashed chips than online.

Best chips since OK chips from Barberton, Ohio. These are made in Pennsylvania.
These chips are terrific. They are cooked in lard. Real potato chips. If anyone is familiar with OK chips that were made in Ohio, you will like these if you are looking for health food stay away from these. But if you are looking for those old time batch made chips. Buy these! You will not be disappointed.

There are no better chips that Gibble's Chips cooked in lard -- the old fashioned way. Wonderful taste - can't get them very well anymore. The family sold the company, so these chips are a treasure! Enjoy while you can!

nibbles and gibbles
I believe I had Gibble's potato chips at one time. They were quite good, different from the usual Herr's brand that I'm more familiar with, but ultimately I was very satisfied with the product and would recommend that you purchase them... if you can actually FIND them that is. Talk about rare- Gibble's home style potato chips. So rare that I've only been able to find them once, and so rare that there's only one person currently selling them new here on amazon for nearly 50 dollars. No thanks! One of those "you're better off looking for a bag in the grocery store despite how much trouble it will probably be than spending outrageously for them online" dealios.
