Drawing Architecture: The beginner's guide to sketching architecture

Excellent drawings

I am happy with this book. It has enough information to get me started on all types of drawings of buildings. It goes from various art supplies I can use, to different point perspectives, placement of items in the foreground and background, to different textures of building. The information is great that it has, but is definitely for beginners like me (while I have been an artist for years, I have never drawn buildings) and does not go into deep details that would bog down a beginner. The pictures are fantastic. I will get lots of use out of this book.

What I love about this book is that it is easy to understand . It has helped me improve my drawings and sketches. Very helpful is the limited palette of colors .I am not a trained artist but love the hoby. The pictures above show how wide the influence was for me . Prior to reading it I did mostly flowers and landscapes.

For beginners not professionals

I am a wannabe Picoaso without his skill biput love urban sketching. This book is beautifully written and illustrated with many great examples that have enabled me to improve my technique .
