As far as I understand, all Ziploc bags are BPA free and so is Tupperware.

Q: sturdy enough for sous vide?

I had to Google spud vide. I am not sure that these bags could be used for cooking. I bought these to use for the Blessing in a Backpack program where we pack pre-packaged food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners and snacks for weekend food for low income children and the teachers put them in the children’s backpacks. Not sure if they can take heat.

Perfect gallon non-freezer bags at a GREAT price!

Great value. Note that these are NOT freezer bags. Hint - always compare unit prices if you want to know if you are getting a good deal. These bags definitely hold a seal and get the job done. Easy to write on too with a marker. Buy this if you need/want a “bulk” deal on gallon bags. Storage capacity is exactly what one would expect, and as these are not freezer bags, they are of course not as thick and durable. However, for refrigerator foods, pantry foods, whatever else, etc., they are perfect. No complaints.

Massive, MASSIVE supply of bags!

I wish I would have looked on here for bags sooner. An EXCELLENT find! They’re the exact bags you’ll find in the stores. Only difference is that this in one giant cardboard box of them. Even if you don’t think you need these, you’re wrong. You need them! Price is right, they wouldn’t spoil so buy them.
