I’m a hairstylist and make-up artist and I’ve been searching for a ring light for a little over a year now.After countless searches and reading of reviews I decided to go ahead with this purchase.I’ve only had it a few days but so far so great! My hair and make-up studios lighting isn’t all that great and this has made it soooo much better.The only drawback is the tripod doesn’t feel as sturdy as I thought it would but it’s not too bad. I can always purchase another.

The light is great!! The setting are nice to be able to change the exposure on a picture.My original light began having problems working after 3 months of use. However, after emailing the manufacturer I got a response within a day, and after providing them proof of purchase and a video of the lights issue they offered to send out a replacement per the warranty, without hassle. A+ customer service.

I just opened my package today and there were quite a few things wrong with this product. First, there was a hole in the bag that holds the ring light. The products inside of the pocket fell out of the hole. Second, the whole bag is too small to fit the actual stand inside of it which was not mentioned in the product description at all and is a huge inconvenience. The purpose of the bag was to fit ALL of the pieces in it for travel, but that’s not possible with this bag. Third, when I tried to open/assemble the stand, the knobs would not keep the legs tight enough to hold still. The legs would keep stretching out and not stay up. It is not sturdy whatsoever. The knobs to loosen/tighten are not secure at all. As I was trying to figure out the stand, one of the other knobs that I did not even touch just fell off. The whole thing looks and feels very cheaply made. I never even got to assemble the whole ring light with the stand, I just put everything back in the box. I’m very disppointed because I had read good reviews and I needed this for work. I am definitely returning this.

Pros:-Lightweight-Feels "semi-durable" - made with ABS material-Lighting is bright and of high quality-Has a dimming switch to vary light intensity-Comes with an orange filter (default is 5500 kelvin)-Perfect middle option for intermediate media producers (not too cheap but not too expensive)-Low heat output-Little to no chromatic aberration-Comes with a high quality travel bagCons:-Limited to only 2 color temperatures-Ring light mount on light stand is slightly "wobbly" (shouldn't be an issue if indoors)-Mounting a phone/DSLR directly to the light is tedious and will increase wobbliness-Light stand legs are interconnected so if one moves down, so will the other 2 (not ideal for uneven surfaces - but like before, if you are shooting indoors, this wont be an issue)-ABS material is not perfectly sturdy in generalOverall summary:ZOMEI's newest ring light seems to be a worthwhile purchase and middle option for serious hobbyists, enthusiasts, and semi-professionals. If you are a professional, the product this satisfaction will bring may vary from individual to individual, as everyone has different standards, requirements, and tolerances. No matter what your experience level, you must come in with reasonable expectations, or you will be disappointed regardless of what people say. The product is $109.99 so treat it as so. If you treat it like a $500 ring light, you won't be pleased.

I no longer use my vanity! I stuck a mirror in the middle of the ring and its my go to. I do all my makeup with this light. All my friends keep asking me where did I buy the light because they're obsessed with my new ring light. Package came as described.

I purchased this light from Amazon on March 31, 2018. The light worked fine, but after using this light only a handful of times since March the power supply failed while I was preparing for this morning's podcast interview. I am disappointed, to say the least.

I went to use it and like the first one I bought from another company, it doesn't work! I found this out as I was about to do a bride's makeup.!
