Haven't had this long but works good so far got hot fast but draws a lot of current

This worked great, the master bathroom is a long way from the water heater. just to wash your hands took like 5 min to get hot. and we are on well and the water 220 under the ground is 60. anywho this is amazing now have hot water to wash hands asap. just did it for sink ran hot into cold input and hot to hot from the main house. so can get instant hot to wash hands but after a few min it gets a bit cooler till the main line kicks in.

I'm not sure how well it heats, etc, because I didn't even get there. I put standard 1/2" (yes, careful, it's 1/2", not the usual 3/4") Sharkbite brass elbows (to pex) on and I had to CRANK them just to get them on. Didn't matter; leaked like a rainstorm immediately. The threads are weird; they don't seem correct.

Overall the product works well. The hot water thread was cross threaded. If you know nothing about plumbing this may get frustrating. We had to send the first one back because the cross threading was too bad.

My water heater is pretty far from the kitchen sink and it took forever to get hot water and once I did get the hot water it really wasn’t hot enough! This little device solved all of those problems, and I actually had to turn the temperature down because the water was too hot ( approx 130 deg). I hired a plumber to install it and I could kick myself in the butt for not doing it myself - it is just way too easy to do. The water temp is shown in Celsius and I’m a Fahrenheit guy and there aren’t any directions on how to change it but that is a minor issue.

Install this in a bath vanity, to help eliminate waiting for hot water in a rear bathroom. Works super!The only thing I came acrossed after install. Is if you try and run other appliances like hair dryer or space heat at the same time the current draw may trip the breaker.We worked around the problem by putting space heater on low setting.

Have tiney house. This works well for my small sink. Was vey easy to install. Thumbs Up!
