Was great!
Installed antenna and worked great! However this morning when I left the house the antenna was on the bike, but when I returned it was missing. Suspect it must have vibrated loose. I ordered some Loctite and going to put the stock antenna back on for now.

overall very good.
I liked that it fit perfectly and I believe I may have a little better reception. Not great by all means but a bit better that the original.

Perfect fit
Great fit that works perfectly. Nice option to get rid of the long whip antennae. Doesn’t effect quality of radio.

Awesome for my Vulcan Vaquero
Not only does it bring in more stations than the stock antenna ever did but it did this even in my garage where I can usually only get about 3 stations. Seems a little loose when installing so thread lock is recommended. The reason I needed this was I have a trunk installed on the motorcycle and the stock antenna had to be placed almost horizontally so it would fit under the trunk. This fits under the trunk just fine. Also, installed on a 2013 Vulcan Vaquero.

BETTER THAN ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
Somehow I lost my antenna for my 2017 Kawasaki Voyager and a replacement from the motorcycle shop was 162.00 and change! I got it on Amazon at 1/3 of the cost. I love saving money on parts! It also brings in the radio stations a lot clearer.

Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700 ABS replacement antenna
The original antenna is known to wiggle itself off from the mount and it cost on average about $125 to replace. This replacement works great and is only a fraction of the cost.

Fits
Antenna fits but maybe too short to get good reception. Kawasaki radio system reception is poor compared to other motorcycle, so it may not be the shorter antenna.

Purchased this to replace the OEM antenna on my 1700cc Vaquero. Installation was complete in literally seconds (unscrew the OEM from the base and screw in the replacement, took longer to type this one line than swap the antenna). Fit and finish are very high quality. Being only 6.4 inches high the top of this antenna is slightly below the pad surface of the passenger seat (no more kicking the antenna when mounting / dismounting the motorcycle). IMHO the FM / AM / WX radio signal reception is stronger and clearer than with the OEM whip. Some may feel it is a little pricy for a 6.4 inch mast however in the realm of radios, antenna quality will make or break the signal and this antenna is a quality item. Durability is the result of use / abuse and exposure to the elements over time. Based upon what I can see and feel with the item I received, it will last as long as the vehicle it is fitted to. I suggest putting some non-permanent thread lock/seal (e.g. loctite blue) adhesive on the mast threads before installing. This should help prevent any road / wind induced vibrations from loosening it and preventing loss.

The antenna separated from the threaded portion and fell off of the bike. Threads remained in the antenna holder, it lasted for a year.
