And the ice cream doesn’t get stuck in the bottom.The metal construction feels very durable and sturdy. It is a little on the heavier side, but in my opinion that just makes it feel well-made and built to last rather than flimsy. It has a solid, comfortable feel in your hand while scooping.Another big plus is that it’s dishwasher safe, making cleanup quick and easy after dessert. Overall, this is a high-quality ice cream scooper that’s both functional and attractive. If you’re tired of fighting with traditional scoop shapes, I definitely recommend giving this U-shaped design a try.Overall, my kids and I love this scooper and would recommend it to anyone. Especially if you have independent kids. It helps them struggle less scooping their own ice cream.

I HAVE THE POWER!!! This ice cream scoop is amazing. Very hefty and solid in the hand, with good grip and quality feel. It sliced through hard-frozen, ice-crystally ice cream without stopping, making neatly-packed and rounded scoops that then slid off as easily as they slid on. The hook on the end of the handle is really handy for opening lids.I've never had good grip strength, so always let my ice cream soften before trying to scoop it. Even then, sometimes the utensil made little chips and digs instead of scoops, and my hand hurt. This one scoops freely and easily, with no strain. Love it.

This ice cream scoop works great! It has a comfortable grip, feels sturdy, and cuts through hard ice cream much easier than my old scoop. It makes nice, even scoops and is easy to clean. I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Bought this to replace a lever-operated ice cream scoop that disappointingly broke mid-scoop. Enter the replacement: it just works and surprisingly well.The first time I used it, I honestly thought my ice cream had somehow melted. It glides through the ice cream with almost no effort and makes perfect rounds. The textured bump pattern inside the scoop makes releasing the serving easy, so there’s no need to perform the two-spoon “Macarena” to get the ice cream out.It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design. The flat leading edge makes it easy to scrape along the bottom and sides of the container, and even the lid hook (which I initially thought was a gimmick) has turned out to be useful and gets used regularly.I’m a big fan of this scoop, it’s already carved its way through three tubs of ice cream, and it feels solidly built. Additionally, with no moving parts to break, I expect it’ll be around for many more tubs to come. I’m not sure if making ice cream easier to access is doing my waistline any favors, but I’m happy with the purchase.One parting note: Point away from you when washing (...just trust me...)

Highly recommend this ice cream scoop! It is sturdy, comfortable to hold, and slices through hard ice cream with ease. It makes perfect scoops and cleans up quickly. Definitely a great purchase.

It works pretty great and seems like it would be durable. I wish it had a thru hole for hanging on a hook, it just has a notch
