The little flexible threaded leader that comes with it is rounded on the end. It pushes through pretty easy. I used this to push through about 80' of 1" conduit that already had three single wires in it. TIP: make sure that the leader is threaded on tight- or even use thread locker. My pull was very tight and about 10' out, the threaded tip pulled off- because it had twisted and came unthreaded. I got it back when I pulled the wire back out the other side, all the threads were still good. I finally had to use conduit lubricant because of two 90 degree bends underground. I pulled on this tape very hard and it didn't break.
