Nice little clamps, used to hold down above ground pool cover during the windy winter. They held up well, no issues.

These clamps are awesome! They're great to have on hand, and have many uses.Expecting freezing temps and need to secure a blanket covering to your fruit tree? Grab a clamp. Need to secure some lights and cords to your plant stand? Grab a clamp. Need to secure a tarp? Grab a clamp. Need to secure your garbage bag to the bin? Grab a clamp. The possibilities are endless!They are strong, the grip doesn't slip and fall off like other cheaper clamps. I like the multi-size pack, and find uses for all the sizes. I've purchased these clamps 3 times now, and won't hesitate to buy again!

These are really nice clamps for holding cards and bonding in some modeling applications.The problem with them is that they are a non-obvious compromise.For holding fabrics, the yellow pads should have more surface roughness or pressure, whereas for clamping flats the smooth pads are preferred or mandatory. For clamping parts, moderate force is needed, but for some of my applications 1/2 or less of the force provided is needed (on my shipment 12 lbs - measured at the pad over 0.48 sq in or 25 psi with the jaws 1/8 inch apart. Higher forces are experienced at greater openings). For some of my holding needs 3-5 lbs would be preferable. These are very "strong" for 4 inch polymer clamps. However the force seems inadequate for normal "1-by" woodworking, fine for smaller stock and frames, and too strong for pressure sensitive flat clamping. Overall, I like them and intend to use them for applications they fit, but a version with adjustable spring force would be "the bees knees", especially since the force provided is a function of the opening angle.

Great strength, but could be easier to use if they had flat surfaces. The round punching side roll off your fingers when you try and use one handed. Otherwise really well built.
