I had given up and started to go grey. Then I relented and bought a bottle of this because it was cheap and I thought I’d just give it a go for fun. It’s brilliant. Doesn’t hide my grey but it sort of blends them in in a really natural way. I am Ordering two more. Much better than the Treseme depositing mask that I used to use.

Gives hair a lovely shine, useful to get a couple more weeks between permanent colours

Its a good product and covers grey hair growth quite well but of course washes out next time and has ti be repeated. A good in-between dyeing hair.

The colour is good, it has more red pigment than cool brown toners from other brands. So you get almost the same cool brown, but it's brighter and deeper. But it makes my hair really dry for 1-2 weeks after each use, despite me using different masks and conditioners, so I won't buy it again.

This is a good product, does the job and gave my hair a lovely shine and uplifted the dullness. For the price, and convenience of an inbetweener touch up, you really cant go wrong.

This has more colour than you’d imagine, it is quite dark though and more brown than mahogany, it’s absolutely ok for dark brown hair dyed or natural

It does add a tint to the hair that somehow gives it more life - I feel my hair looks alive whenever I use this. The only downside, I have to use a leave on conditioner as the final step or use a conditioner over it before final wash. So I don't feel it really works like a mask that softens the hair but it does help in the color. Color seems to be more on the deep chocolate brown side. I have been coloring my hair with burgundy and reds the past few months so I really like the combined effect so far.

This is absolutely useless. First, it scares you that the color is actually very dark reddish pink instead of mahogany. Not a hint of brown. It’s somewhere between reddish pink and eggplant. But I still wanted to try for fun. I have blonde hair and quite a bit of grays. It didn’t color the grays or the blonde hair at all. It washes off immediately. The bottle says it lasts 2-3 washes. It doesn’t even last a single wash. If it can’t make difference on naturally light hair, it won’t make any difference on actually brown hair. You know how your fingernails get stained if you use any other brand of coloring conditioner. I’m not talking about hair color that has peroxide. I’m talking about the same type of product from other brands. This looks like it’s going to stain your hands and fingernails like those or the way raspberries or blackberries do. But no, it washes off your hands immediately the moment water touches it. Does it condition? No. Not at all. You’re better off buying a cheap conditioner if you like softer hair.
