Sizing (Measured from the widest point of your calf). If you are on the border of two sizes, we suggest going up a size. This suggestion is because when you run, workout or exercise your calf is going to swell. By going up a size, the compression will work to it's maximum potential. | Small: 10.5" - 13" | Medium: 13.5" - 15" | Large: 15.5" - 17" | X-Large: 17.5" - 20"

Helps with pain along hip, thigh, knee, & calf
I do work that can be fairly intensive at times; I developed pain in my left leg that couldn't really be explained at first, so I purchased these to use alongside another compression band on my thigh. These were a necessary part (one really, I didn't wear them as a pair) for me to even walk at times. It turned out that I have a fairly rare & idiopathic condition that had eventually led to a crushed hip ball joint. I was walking on it for months taking otc pain meds all while seeing specialist after specialist trying to find the source of my pain. It became so bad, I was willing to try anything - so I grabbed these. After experimenting around, a thigh compression band with one of these on my calf, I could walk close to normal with minimal pain. I went from unbearable pain to very little pain & a relatively normal gait with the help of these. Eventually the doctor's diagnosed, ran several scans of my hip, recommended a plan of action, & the source of my pain eventually corrected. So, if you need to walk around without pain or minimal pain for a fair amount of time, engaging in vigorous & demanding activity, & have a crushed hip-ball joint - these can help you (I would recommend a different course of action with the help of hindsight).Hopefully you're not looking at these with knowledge of a severe medical condition requiring medical professionals; however, considering my case, I would assume that means people who have lesser pain than I did & do not have crushed bone could have a real possibility of finding these as helpful as I did.

Got me through 2 marathons so far
I broke the cardinal rule before my first marathon - nothing new on race day. I was feeling very underprepared and wasn't sure that my legs were going to be able to sustain 26 miles of pounding. I knew of the benefits to compression socks and had worn pairs to bed before, but never while running. I picked these up at the expo so that I could continue using my normal running socks but then I could slide these on. If I cramped or something then I could take them off and be alright. It worked, I finished. Ever since then, these have been a staple to my long runs. I can't promise that they are better, but since I used to be very prone to shin splints and have never had them with these I'm afraid to not use them. If nothing else, they are cheap and definitely aren't hurting so I'm more than happy to keep using them. I have several pairs now, some for running and a couple that I'll wear under my pants at work when my legs are needing some extra recovery. They've never steered me wrong.

So far so good
So far so good! I'd give these five stars if I already know how durable they'd be and how they'd hold in repeated washing. For now, the elastic holds with good-enough compression for very small calves (it is difficult to find compression that actually does something for calves that are less than 10" in circumference--some people are small ... and some kids and preteens need these, too!--I wish there was more on the XS sizing, but Small was the smallest so this is what I can report on).

Great funtionally, but...
Functionally, these work great. However, I have several other brands of value priced compression sleeves & these are not my favorite. When wearing these, they perform as expected & as well as the others. These just do not wash as well as the other brands & don't seems to hold their shape as well. For example, my other compression sleeves lay flat & smooth after washing & drying. These are lumpy & slightly misshapen. As I said, they work well on, but don't get my highest rating because they just don't seem to be as high quality of the ones I have of comparable price.

I don't workout without them
I suffered a lower calf strain over a week ago. Just normal walking throughout the day and walking up steps would really aggravate it. I would Ice it a few times in the evenings, keep it elevated and by morning it would feel better until I started walking around again. After putting these sleeves on I noticed a significant improvement. I wore them all day and by day two I had almost no pain. I know it will be a couple weeks before I can return to normal fitness activities but these really do catalyst healing through improved blood flow. Also the size chart is spot on. I ordered an extra large for my 17.5 Inch calf's, they seemed tight going on, but once in place you don't even know you are wearing them. I am ordering a couple more pairs. I plan on wearing these for all hiking, biking, and fitness activities.

Great Value and Great Performance
I have tried several brands of compression sleeves for my lower legs, and these are some of the best. Many other brands (with big marketing budgets) do not even come close to the performance of the SureSport products. I am sure there are other products out there that may be just as good, but SureSport delivers great performance at a great price.I am an avid athlete that works out almost everyday, but still struggle with circulation problems in my lower legs. I wear them daily for working out, I wear them when I travel for business (nobody can see them under my business attire) and they have held up very well to all the wear and tear of daily use and abuse. One of the very few products I would rate 5 stars, and I will continue to buy these SureSport products.

Great compression calf sleeves at a good price.
I bought two grey pairs of these calf sleeves - one for my husband and one for myself. I'm 5'4" and my calves measure just over 13" inches currently. The company recommends going up to the next size if you are on the border between to sizes and it makes sense, since blood pumps into the calf muscles during a run, causing them to expand. And, as I continue to run and cross train, it's likely that I'll add a bit more muscle. I went with a size medium and the sleeves are a wonderful fit. I am looking forward to using these during my long runs and for recovery after hard workouts. I will probably buy a few additional pairs in other colors for variety and convenience.
