I ordered the wrong pole set, this one was for kids. So I returned it.

This is a great combo for kids to start fishing. It comes with everything you need.My husband has been wanting to teach to boys for months.. so happy I found this affordable set!simple enough for beginners to learn fast.In fact this is the type of reel I started learning on before moving onto spinning and conventional gear.Overall great price and combo for any young kid getting into fishing. Lightweight, durable and designed to last. very easy to work with.. and also very user friendly..Great value! Basically 2 for the price of 1Very happy with this purchase!

With the impending apocalypse seemingly approaching, and since I wasn't allowed to get a hunting rifle or bow, this was the compromise!Actually, I want to feed my family fish.We live near thousands of Cascadian lakes and fishing is a very realistic way to garner food in the wild or from the nearby rivers.This is hardly a main pole but it is compact, so a great emergency pole...and 2nd kid's pole.

To light weight. As soon as I opened the rod the top got stuck and wouldn't go back down. Extremely flimsy even for a child. For a no name brand the reels do look ans feel kind of nice. Yes they are small but I would have used them..but sending back so i make sure it all goes back together as i recieved it.. The wait was longer than usual and I was so disappointed.. my son was like arghh been waiting to fish and now when we get the refund the poles im sure we can find a lot better for 20 each with a reel that will last until we get better sets. The lures it comes with isn't a big deal and neither is the bag. I don't like giving bad reviews but it gets sickening every time u get something that is already broken before u get to even use it. I wouldn't even buy these for the kids to play in a puddles.. I'm so sorry but 100% truth.. for the folks that liked them. I'm happy they are happy with um. Included line is pretty thin and it kept getting tangled during retraction. Both rods came defective. One kept getting tangled inside the line spindle during casting/retracting the line and the other was broken from the locking mechanism on the reel. For begginers its ok and having 2 rods is better. I will seek something stronger and more reliable as I learn more

Liked the ability to pack it in case

Bought for grandson, he re as lily l ill led it. Had everything he needs all together in a case.

The rods were good but the reel broke on one of the rods within the first week. Still a good price and the kids have enjoyed them.

These are not very well built rods or reel combos. Rod broke during a cast, reel lost some of its trim pieces. Other rods front tip (eyelid tip) came off as well During cast. I would say these would be good for one trip of fishing but that’s when this all happened. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for other, more competently built rod combos, even if they cost a bit more.

They are more like something you would get out of china.They will work but seem very flimsy

Decent price and nice kit for kids. Line got stuck a few times though.

Looks fair for money. But I can't say it's quality is as fair as expected. I went fishing with my son, but the reel got broken at the first time my son tried to cast. I spent an hour to fix it but failed. I wasted my money and my time.
