Polylok20" / 24" Septic Tank Riser Adapter Ring (PN: 3009-AR)

Worth noting I only purchased the adapters thru Amazon and the risers and lids from another company that sold them for less.Very easy to install. It'll make life so much easier for future pumpings.

I installed two of these adapters along with two 12-inch risers with heavy duty Polylok lids this past weekend at our "weekend retreat". The quality is impeccable and they fit well (snap fit once aligned) to be secured with stainless steel screws. The lids came with seventeen (#10 x 3"??) hex head screws (one spare as you only need eight per lid) which comes in handy if one ends up in the tank :)A couple of pointers:1) Be prepared to cut the plastic adapter if you are using it on a 24" diameter system. No big deal, but an unexpected 5 minute chore with a sabre saw or SawzAll with a small blade. A helper is handy to rotate the adapter ring as you run the saw. I dressed up the cutting job with a file and a piece of emery cloth (30 seconds).2) The next item is a bit of a issue with me as when you are supplied with the 3" screws mentioned above for the heavy duty lids, one might assume that since the lids can mount directly to the adapter rings (no riser needed), that 3"screws would also be necessary for attaching the riser to the adapter ring... wrong. After hunting around for 3" SS screws at my local ACE and paying a buck each for them, imagine my disappointment (an hour away from anywhere) when I found out the screws were too long. I will need to return the 3" screws for some shorter ones (I'm thinking 1 1/2" maximum length will do). This all could have been avoided had someone with Polylok, vendors, or Amazon mentioned that eight SS screws (# 10 x 1 1/2" ??) are needed to secure a riser to an adapter ring.

Came with everything described. Used for my concrete septic tank. Extremely easy to install.

It works. But I feel it is overpriced by about 20%.

This cover plate is very made of very thick, durable plastic. The hole templates helped with installation spacing of the anchor screws. The design is a great alternative to replacement with a concrete "plug" type cover. There were no anchor screws included but a trip to the hardware store solved that problem easily. Be sure to order the same brand of and proper size lid to go with this base plate.

I installed Polylok 3009-AR 20" or 24" Septic Tank Riser Adapter Ring Polylok 24" x 6" Septic Tank Riser Polylok 3008-RC Septic Tank Riser Cover, 24-Inch, Green poly tank cover was used to replace the heavy concrete lid that allows for me to quickly inspect my tanks and clean the filter without having to dig up my yard. The green cover is attractive and blends in well and look right at home with the surrounding grass. It was quick and easy to install and has saved me hundreds in service fees paying to have a company service my effluent filter and digging fees for pump outs. I also add my septic tank treatments directly to the tank by opening the lid and pouring it in!

Worked well. Just be sure to screw cap onto flange before placement and stay aware to avoid warping flange out of plane to cap when installing. Also make sure you rough up sealing surface with a coarse wire brush for a good mechanical Bond with perimeter sealant

Bought this with a Polylok 20" heavy duty lid and 20"x6" riser to replace a concrete septic tank lid on my liquids tank. Installation was breeze and I'm super happy with the end result.Note: No hardware included. Installation for me required eight #14 x 1.5" stainless hex head screws and washers, and eight 5/16 x 2" plastic anchors to attach to the top of the tank. I also emptied a tube of construction adhesive to help the butyl rubber rope seal it all off.

good product but making larger size avilable would be great.

Very good product and a convenient system.

Pleased with the product, easy to trim for 24",riser and lid fit together perfectly.

That I was led to believe that tuf tite extenders would fit on this adapter.
