I started using this lip balm during a stretch of dry weather when my lips were constantly cracked and uncomfortable, and it quickly became part of my daily routine. I applied it in the morning, throughout the day, and before bed, and it actually held up without needing nonstop reapplication. It feels soothing right away and makes lips feel comfortable instead of just temporarily coated. What I appreciate most is how it works quietly in the background. After a couple of days, my lips felt noticeably better—less flaky, less tight, and overall healthier. There’s no scent, no shine, and nothing distracting about it, which makes it easy to use anywhere. It’s one of those simple, dependable products that does exactly what you want without any fuss.

First let me say, I very rarely leave reviews, but for this product, I must. 4 weeks ago, angular cheilitis formed for the first time on the left corner of my lips & I tried EVERYTHING to heal it. Cocoa butter, Vaseline, & medicated Blistex (made it worse) did absolutely nothing to help. Week after week, the frustration was real. I read about O'Keeffe's lip repair. Of course I was extremely skeptical. I received the product yesterday at 2pm & now it is almost 5pm next day-- the angular cheilitis is GONE! Unbelievable, but I am SO HAPPY! This lip repair goes on thick, but does not feel thick at all when it's on my lips. Not greasy whatsoever. No weird residue. i don’t think i’ve ever reviewed a lip product before in my life but this was TOO GOOD to not leave a review. for starters, i suffer with TERRIBLE chapped, dry, sad, sandpaper, crusty lips. i’m very (or was) self conscious about it, constantly licking my lips and peeling them—and we all know how that goes. you lick, peel, bleed, and then the cycle repeats. this chapstick is my HOLY GRAIL!!!! it took one day (and maybe the morning of the next) for my lips to be reborn. no my dryness, no more crust, no more bleeding. when i tell you this chapstick causes your lips to peel in the BEST WAY. if you were on the fence, PLEASE GET THIS! it literally takes off the top layer of your lips, leaving you soft and smooth. and fyi—this is THICK. it’s not shiny like a lip oil or gloss. i like to top with a lip oil just to get some shine while still having the benefits. it really is going to help if you’re suffering from chapped lips this winter season.

Awesome stuff I bought this because in the winter my poor boys come home from school and there lips are chapped and cracked I used this stuff and don't quote me on this everyone's different but I swear I put it on my son before bed and in the morning his chapped lips literally peeled off and he had normal lips again I will be purchasing every winter

Wow! Talk about a MAJOR upgrade from other name brand lip protection products! Goes on smoothly & softly, feels good on lips, easily applied & coverage adjustability by rubbing lips together (no fingers needed). Protection relief is immediately felt; my cracked & dry lip skin immediately softened & offered pain relief for cracks. I especially appreciate the long lasting coverage, moisturizing, and softening. I also like my lips aren’t immediately dried out when I don’t use this product. This brand is now my absolute favorite & I’m going to keep it stocked up for my family.

I have been using this chapstick for 8+ years and it is the best. No frills, no scent but works! Has a slightly waxy feel on the lips but it doesn't wear off easily so you don't need to reapply often. I use it every night before bed. I never have dry/ chapped lips when I wake up. I will never stop using this product.

Since perimenopause has hit, my body has gone through some unexpected changes - one being severe eczema (who would have thought?). Oddly it has it in the most random is places: a singular eyelid, my fingers, and my lips. I didn’t even know these were a thing! In response to my lippies, I used my usual chapsticks, but to no avail. In desperation, I started purchasing massive amounts (okay, like three) of chapstick geared towards eczema and this chapstick is my favorite. While I am sad that I can no longer use my fun, tinted lip balms, this one has proven to be a game changer. It’s much thicker than you average chapstick and it stays on much longer. It does have that waxy quality to it, but I can really feel that it’s sealing my lips so no moisture is being whisked away by the terrible onslaught of horrible weather here in San Diego (kidding). In a matter of days, my lips were healed and I have had no eczema on them since, though I had consistently used this at least every other day. If you live in a colder area, I do think this would be great for your lips, but I can’t speak to the longevity of it, so you may need to apply more frequently.

It doesnt give a heating effect as compared to when using vaseline, which is good. But slow in healing. Have been having this sudden dry, chapped and (sometimes) bleeding lips for quite some time.

This is the most effective lip balm I've ever used! It's obviously winter, cracked lips aren't nice and mine get really dry. I've tried all the others, saw these and thought I'd give them a go. It's goes on, once application and I can still feel my lips are moisturised hours later. It's not like some that dry your lips out the more you put then on. No weird smells - some really smell under a mask, this one's fine.
