I used the previous Secura Automatic Soap Dispenser model for 3 years during the pandemic. It was excellent and worked way better than other brands of other automatic soap dispensers I tried and discarded. The previous model of Secura would work for about a year, and then they just stopped, and I then bought a new one. I am so excited to see the new model. It appears to me that an engineer looked at the previous model and set out to make improvements to make a perfect product. First, I like that the new reservoir is larger than the previous model. I love the new dispersal jet. The soap doesn’t congeal and block the spout after a while. I like the improvement that controls how much liquid soap comes out based on how close my hand is to the spout. I like the new battery compartment; it makes it much easier to change the batteries. I also like the cool feature where the whole soap dispenser changes colors for 25 seconds after dispensing some liquid soap so that we can time how long we should be scrubbing our hands with the soap before washing it off. May I say congratulations to Secura! Your engineering team really made some impressive improvements. It is so exciting to see a company with a great product hire some great engineers to improve it to the next level.

After two months and a half stopped working.Update: Great customer service, they sent me a new dispenser to replace the broken one.

I ordered several of these for my house. They all work well, except for one, which seems to output a very small amount of product (using the same soap in all dispensers). I'm not sure what the issue is or why one dispenses less. There does not seem to be any ability to adjust or correct this issue.Update: July 2023. Six months after purchase and three of the 5 I ordered have ceased working. I tried new batteries but clearly something is broken. It makes the sound like its pumping fluid but nothing comes out. Cheap product. Will not buy again.I recommend you avoid this product.

We are using it in the kitchen. I like the size, long battery life and easy to change the batteries. It worked more than a year. I just replaced it with the same soap dispenser.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this soap dispenser for about a month now. I bought it to try to be more eco-friendly after I was tired of using/throwing away the individual plastic ones from Mrs. Meyers. Here are some pros/cons:PROS-Good price (Black Friday purchase)-Look is sleek (love the black and square design)-Holds a large amount of soap (almost a whole bottle of Mrs. Meyers refill)-Cool light that changes colors to let you know how wash your hands and the lights stop after twenty seconds (ex. one of the colors means to interlock your hands when washing and another color means to start washing the back of your hands)-Battery Operated (don’t need to worry about holding onto a charging cable for the dispenser)CONS:-Motion Detector is sensitive (will go off when just having my hand reach for the the hot water)-Dispenses Too Much Soap (the amount of soap that is dispensed can vary on how close or far your hand is to the top, but it does dispense a lot of soap, maybe more soap than if I just used a traditional pump dispenser)-Longevity of Lights (not sure how long the lights will last, hope they don’t burn out soon)Overall, I really enjoy this purchase. I would buy it again if it was on sale.

Has a nice long spout that hangs out over the edge of my sink, distance sensing to determine amount of soap works perfectly. Clear housing makes it easy to see when I’m running low. Easy to refill and batteries are housed well away from any potential water. The on/off button works great even when I’m wearing my gloves (I’ve only turned it off once when I wanted to wipe/clean the spout without setting off the dispenser).It handles most colors very well… my blue scotch sponge and my dark pink gloves have no problem… but I did have to get rid of my black rubber gloves as the motion sensor wouldn’t detect their presence. I’m wondering if this would be a problem for people with darker skin tones. Something for the industry to consider in their future designs.

This soap dispenser handles pretty viscous soap with no problem. The capability of dosing the soap depending on where you place your hand is really convenient.
