Review: For Color Transfer, It Works Perfectly!! - I used this product for the first time to remove blue dye transfer from a pair of jeans that stained my white hoodie in the washing machine. At first, I was honestly very impressed because the stains disappeared almost immediately in the hot water solution. However, when I took the hoodie out of the bucket and started rinsing it with cold water, the blue color came back instantly and the hoodie looked stained all over again. I had to repeat the whole process using a second box of the product. The second time, instead of rinsing with cold water, I used warm water first. Some light blue areas still tried to come back during rinsing, so I placed the wet hoodie back into the same solution again, and the stains disappeared once more. After that, I rinsed carefully with warm water, then washed the hoodie in the washing machine with regular detergent and fabric softener. In the end, the hoodie came out looking clean again and the product really saved it. The only downside for me is that the product has a pretty strong smell, and even after washing the hoodie, I can still notice it a little bit. Hopefully it will disappear after another wash. Overall, the product worked very well and saved a white hoodie that I thought was ruined.
Review: Horrible. Garments Worse After Treatment. - One star is not low enough. Out of desperation to fix a sentimental set of pajamas, I had to try this product. My child had a red, white and blue patterned pajamas that were thrown into the wash by accident with a red table cloth. The red table cloth bled, and pinked all the white parts of the pajamas. I tried all oxy products and stain fighter detergents to no results. Tried this product as directed with test spots, seemingly ok. Clothes didn't appear to be colorfast after spot testing, and especially after getting washed at least 20 times before without bleeding I thought I was in the clear. Started to wash with this product and at first there was no change, but then it started to activate. The reds on parts of the shirt bled out and left a mustard brown color. The deep blues were nearly wiped out like acid was jeans. Some parts of the shirt seemed un-phased. In an attempt to stop the product from making things worse, I tried to rinse asap but the damage was done, it continued to bleed for another 10 minutes afterwards. There was no stopping the reaction. Ironically, the pinks I intended to remove are still just as pink with no result. This product worked hard to remove the existing colors that it was not supposed to work on, but not the pink bleed it was intended for. Any chance of saving these pajamas are now completely out of the question, I should've left them alone with the pink bleed. To be honest, I don't know how some people made out good with their results. This product failed miserably. My only advice is only attempt this on a garment you're willing to part with if it doesn't work.

**Q: Have you ever had a blue color run turn lavender when treated with carbona run remover?  what next?**
A: I used the product once on a wool shirt of a cyan color. It was stained with bright red from my jeans that bled. When I used the product, the shirt looked purplish when it was wet. I was worried that it changed the color. But after I rinsed it, the cyan color of the shirt was unaltered, and the water was reddish. My shirt looked perfect.I imagine everything depends on what color bled on you garment, as well as what material it is made of (how much it tends to absorb other dies). But I was shocked how well this product worked on my precious wool shirt!

**Q: Will this work on colored fabric? I had yellow in a quilt turn orange (because of red), I need it to be yellow again and have tried everything else.**
A: My yellow bathroom rug turned blue from being washed with new blue jeans! I ran it through two cycles (one package each), and now it is a muddy yellow with an inexplicable rust colored stain in one corner! I am disappointed with the results.Guess I'll try again, and have anther talk with my hubby about washing mixed colors!

**Q: Will this work on a 30" x 46" throw rug which has red dye bleed from being washed with another (red) throw rug?**
A: Depends on what the rug is made of, the kind of red dye, and what happened during and after the bleeding.  Read the package instructions and warnings carefully, but you probably won't know until you try.  The color removing process hasn't actually hurt anything I tried it on.  At worst, it just had no effect.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magical Product

By accident a navy blue items got mixed with a new white sweater and two pair of white jeans in the wash. Needless to say I had a pale blue sweater and two pair of jeans with blue modern art designs on them. I was very unhappy so I searched for a solution to the problem. After reading success stories for Carbona’s Color Run Remover, I thought it was worth a try. I followed the instructions perfectly using the hand wash method in my slop sink. I watched the blue disappear in front of me. Then, I washed the items in the washing machine as normal. I now have 3 all white items without a hint of blue. I could not be more satisfied.
