Can I use this slicer for defrosted meat?

Being a chef, it depends on what defrosted meat your talking about. This slicer is primarily made specifically for cured meats which have a firmer texture than some type of defrosted protein. With the slicer deck which holds the meat or cheese being small, the protein would have to be cut say 3 inches tall by 5 wide, If I were to slice a raw protein, I would slice semi frozen/defrosted.
