Weatherproofing Garage Door Seals Top and Sides Seal Strip PVC Garage Door Weather Stripping with Screws(Black, 50 ft)

I just purchased this product today 01/11/2024. I purchased 50ft and the package was 2-25 feet rolls and came with screws. The garage is a one car garage and so I only needed 25 feet. The product has a firm strip for placing screws in and then a 1 to 1-1/2" flexible lip that abuts the garage door and prevents drafts. Even after I cleaned the area per the instructions the tape did not stick well. So I bypassed that step. The entire project took less than an hour to install. All the tools required is a drill with a Phillips head bit or a hammer and ridged nails. You want the nails to have a larger head and ridges so they don't work themselves out and so the larger head holds the product in place and it doesn't pop off the nail. I supposed placing a washer on the nail would also prevent that from happening. The temperature in the unheated garage was 51 this afternoon and after installation it is 57. We are expecting wind chills of -15/-25 for about a week. I think this product will work. I put the durability at a 4 as I am not sure yet how durable it will be during harshly cold weather so might have to come back and update this post.

This was very easy to install, and works very well. Cuts down on air transfer a lot. Would definitely recommend if insulating your garage door. I have had this installed 12 months now ans its still working well and holding up well.

Do not buy this. The tape is useless doesn’t stick. You’ll need to nail or staple it.

Be sure not to screw in too tight or ripples will be created. Also be sure to clean the surface well before applying. Other than these things this product has held up well and looks great!

So simple to install and lacking adhesion/durability. I live in Orlando, FL. Purchased to keep critters out of my garage. I did install a new bottom garage door seal, so this was the icing I needed for 100% no critter invasion. It lasted 1 week and fell off. So disappointed and frustrated. Don’t waste your money.

works great if it is not exposed to sunlight. lasted less than a year being exposed to UV. aren't most garages in the sunlight, see the problem.......???????? look somewhere else

Bought this to seal up my 2 garage doors. Easy to install, looks great and I can’t see daylight from inside the garage. Only have 1 done so far, but very pleased with the result. To the guy whose weather stripping fell off after a week — try using screws. Mine came with only 12 screws but luckily I have lots of them around. I would buy this product again.

Absolutely great to stop the droughts / bugs etc

When I first installed this product it tended to get wavy so I redid it again applying constant tension as I nailed it into place. I am happy with the results.

Quality was not as stated. Returned
